Tonya Thomas: This stuff has not stopped all vomiting, but I think it has reduced it. And there is not a lot of fur in what I have to clean up, so probably is moving things through alright. It may just be my cat, he is a weird little guy who will eat oatmeal and corn, I swear he is part dog, but he feels this is a treat and eats it straight from the tube, so it is the easiest “medicine” I have ever dosed a cat with. I give it to him in the morning while I am waiting for my coffee to brew and he expects it.

Ebou2940: I have a finicky Siamese and she eats this like a treat. She gets lots of hairballs, so I give it to her a couple of times a week. She begs for it. It's helped lots in curbing the hairball issues we've had. I would definitely recommend using it, but check with a vet if you are problems with major hairballs. They can cause big problems.

Linda W.: This is one of the only hairball formulas my cats will take, and in reading recent reviews on both Amazon and another pet supply website, it sounded like the formula had changed and the taste, smell and texture were all causing problems. But the picture on this listing looked like the original packaging, not the changed formula one so I took a chance and ordered and was very happy to see that it was indeed the original formula. I had also called the manufacturer as they had a notice on their website about the formula change - talked to a very nice customer service rep who said they were working on getting back to the original formula (ingredient sourcing issues during Covid) and that things should be fixed in a couple more months, so maybe this is the fixed version. Don't know, just glad my cats like it.

C. D.: After doing a little research we discovered that the Nutri-vet brand was acquired by a new company. Not knowing this, we bought a few tubes as needed (and received what was, evidently, the last of the old company’s product.). Cats loved it. The consistency was fluffy and light, and the critters couldn’t get enough of it. Then we got the next batch. The tube had changed so we knew something was up. Then we opened a tube. No comparison with the old product. This new stuff is so dense it won’t come out of the tube properly. Once we got it out, it started to ooze oil. It was dark and smelled like spoiled peanuts. The cats took one whiff and took off. So we opened a different tube. Same thing. Ordered some from Chewy, just in case the batch we got from Amazon was bad. Same problem. So we returned both lots to both companies. We did some checking around and found out about the change of ownership of the Nutri-vet brand. The last of the good stuff was in a tube that had a lot of white in addition to the orange and black. The new tubes (with expiration dates of 07/24 and later) have way more orange than the other two colors. So sorry to see this happen to such a previously wonderful...
