Vincent Smith: I must admit I really got this for the nite lite. And so happy I did.
Grandma is coming to town for Christmas so I needed to get her a nite lite for the guest bedroom, but she was complaining when she came for Thanks that there weren't enough outlets to plug in her cellphone. So this little gem solves those issues. Now when she wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom the nite lite is on to help guide her or at least let her get her bearings.
Love that the lite is a tap light with 3 brightness settings. Great for a kid's bedroom. I also got one for my work from home area so I can plug in both laptops and my 2 cellphones into the different USB chargers.
Not sure about the actual surge protection and I really would not trust this to plug in an iron or a space heater. But for regular usage - cellphones, tablets, TVs, laptops - this is wonderful.
