Nate Nguyen: Bought this to replace a different surge protector that only had USB-A power after I had just bought a new MacBook. I needed a surge protector for the outlets, USB-A, and USB-C power so that I could plug in directly to the USB ports and free up the other outlets for other items. This fit the bill for my home office/desk setup in an old house where outlets are placed in odd locations.

TheEditorTheEditor: I look for three things in a power strip: good surge protection, widely-spaced outlets, and a thick gauge copper power cord. This Nuetsa power strip has all three. It actually has three surge protection systems: TVS (transient voltage suppressor), MOV (metal oxide varistor), and GDT (gas discharge tube), with a 2700J rating.

In addition these power strips must be built rather well, or at least mine was, because although Nuetsa does not advertise any EMI noise suppression feature, this power strip is extremely quiet with very little electronic noise that might otherwise affect audio, computer, or radio equipment. I've owned this power strip for a year now, in constant use, with no issues.

John Conley: The addition of a USB C port to the other 3 USB ports along with 8 outlets really got my attention. With this surge protector outlet strip by my chair I can run all my office products (laptop, etc.) as well as charging my phone, iPad, etc. in one place. It also has an on/off switch. I would have preferred a longer cord but ultimately I decided that since I was using it in close proximity to where I sit would simply cause more clutter. If you need a long power strip then this would not be for you, but for travel, office desk and other close settings this has been perfect. I was going to give it 4 stars for the cord length but ultimately changed it to 5 stars since the 6 foot length is perfect for my need.

I want to add that the inclusion of 8 outlets along with 4 USB inputs at this price point is a real bargain.

Mark Goodwin: First of all not all surge suppressor are created equal. Before this one I got one from Amazon that claimed to be a "surge suppressor" did not even have a reset switch. This one has charging ports, A USB-C port (have no idea why that would be needed). The placement of the outlets is excellent. I have two external hard drive with the block inputs. This is for my home office which I recently created in my grown daughter's room. I changed the Wall plates in the room at the same time. Very pleased overall have nothing negative to say about this surge suppressor. I needed a dependable unit because I have a desktop computer, printer, two external hard drives with outlets to spare. Excellent price. I was not paid to write this. Great value, going to buy another one for the kitchen because we have a countertop oven, airfryer, hotplate, and water pump there. Great purchase!

Zelda: I like the size, the space between the outlets and the fact that one of the USBs is a C. It works as it should and is very useful to plug in random devices once your permanent plusgs are in.

Chris W.Chris W.: This is what the inside actually looks like. The seller's CGI image (in the listing as of Aug. 1 2022) uses a generic "circuit board" texture that doesn't make sense, and they just omitted most of the components. The LED lenses/light pipes do exist, but they're on the lid; The TVS isn't visible in my photo and is presumably behind the PCB―I didn't check.
