Gryffindork: It's oil so of course it's going to be a little gross right out of the gate but since this is fish oil, it has that lingering aftertaste that's fishy, but not in a good way. It's more like a dead-for-a-while fishy taste and it's yucky (yes, I tasted it, lol), so I'm guessing it might be that aftertaste that many cats wind up not liking because the first few seconds in the mouth, the oil is tolerable. It's just when that aftertaste kicks in that it turns gross and unappetizing.

My own cat is not a fan of this stuff once she starts getting that taste. The smell isn't great for her, either but I can at least cover some of it up with her wet food. After a few seconds of eating though, she loses interest. Is the omega 3 actually helping my sweet little kitty? I hope so. It's hard to say but I really hope it's helping her kidneys stay in check longer and helping her joints stay flexible.

I'll keep using this for a little while longer to see how things go with her. If she decides to entirely stop eating it though, then that's it and I'll simply look for something else. It's all about kitty and what works best for her.

Brittani Loomis: I adopted a cat that overgrooms and has quite a bit of fur loss. This product didn't help 100%, but it did help some with the fur regrowth. Kitty approved!

Robyn: My cat hates salmon (go figure) but LOVES this stuff, probably because there is NO salmon in it. It has anchovy and sardine oils in it with absolutely NO fish smell to it!!!! I have tried at least 8-10 different omega 3-6-9 oils with NO success until I found this one. My cat wouldnt even eat his food with any of the other oils in it. Plus they all smelled fishey. Even when trying to "hide it", he would just look at me and meow and walk away. I love that it has EPA and DHA in it with the omega 3 oils. You have to keep it in refrigerator and rinse the dropper with daily use but that's easy and quick (the directions on box). I put it directly on his dry food and he eats every last kibble! My cat is diabetic and had dander BAD. After just 4 days of giving this to him once daily, the dander is 95% GONE! I brush him daily with a "under coat" brush for a few minutes and there is little to no dander in the hair brush. There use to be tons of dander flakes in the brush, but not any more! I will definitely be sticking with this oil!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Allison: After lots of research, I decided to order this fish oil for our 11-year-old cat. He tends to over groom and sometimes has little “bald” patches above his eyes and occasionally when the air is dry, his heels will crack and bleed. Yes, we talked about it with our vet extensively and yes, we’ve tried all the stress-reducing strategies.

A few weeks after starting this oil, his fur looked shiny and fuller. He also had not lost any additional hair in the commonly groomed spots, and he didn’t have any hair missing on his face.

He didn’t love the smell of the oil at first, but now he eats it with his food with no problem. I don’t love the smell, but it’s fish oil, so yeah it’s going to smell like fish! We didn’t have any issues with leakage.

This is a quality, easily used product that will give you results if you want your fur baby to have healthier skin and fur. We will be ordering again and again!

I've been giving it to them for about two months and it's made their coats super soft and silky. It comes with an eye dropper that has measurements on the side so you can make sure you're giving your cat the recommended dose.
