Diana C: We have use many different shoe brushes over the years, all required that you screw them down for stability. This shoe brush is wide enough for my husbands boots and my small feet just requires a bit more moving. We love that you don't screw it down and so you can move it at anytime. Being able to move it prevents dirt build up in one are and if you have something smelly you and take it away from the porch. We live on a homestead with animals and my husband works in a mill. Love this product

Amazon Customer: Building a house and trying to keep the floors somewhat clean. This worked well. Sturdy, well made. Brushes at sides even clean the mud off the sides of your shoes or boots. Stand on one side and scrape your foot on the other so it doesn't move. Sure helped keep the floors clean.

luvamazon: This works well. So far I’ve used it to remove mud, dirt, grass clippings, and snow. It removes the stuff from both the bottom and the sides of the footwear. Anyone who has tried to stomp their shoes or boots clean knows that doesn’t work well at all. I’ve used boot scrapers before but the design on this beats all the others I’ve tried.

jcsthree: After a year and a half, 5 stars became 3.
Pros: it doesn’t need to be mounted or fastened down so moving it isn't a problem.
The rubber is flexible yet durable so it works fine even if it’s on an uneven surface.
It's pretty good at removing dirt.
Con: doesn’t remove wet grass very well. Some of it stays in the bristles and gets stuck back onto your shoe.
It needs to be cleaned frequently which is easy enough when a hose is nearby but we put our hoses away in winter. I now use this as the first step in the process of cleaning my shoes and boots. I keep a broom nearby to sweep away what the matt doesn't get.
