Lori-AnnLori-Ann: I really like these animal nesting dolls. A great twist to the originals. I like that they are handmade, although that means they are a bit more delicate and quality control may not be there. I took off one star because of this, but they are well made. I don’t love that the bears ears are glued on. They are tight at first but most of them loosened up after a bit of playing with them. I hope they hold up well, luckily my son plays very gently with his toys so I’m not too worried about that. This is a great fine motor activity that’s not a traditional puzzle and is nature themed.

Shan: Love how cute these are. Unfortunately the wood is so thin that it warps easily in my cold, dry winter climate. One of the inner dolls would not properly close. I tried rubbing a small amount of oil in the edges & that helped a bit, but still would not close properly. Would have returned but needed it for a Christmas display so couldn’t wait.

Mashutka: As a Russian person I am actually offended by how horrible these nesting dolls are. I purchased these as a gift and there is no possible way to present these to anyone without being completely embarrassed. starting with the horrible paint, which is not hand painted but some kind of sticker possibly, it looks very bad. The main bear doll has ears that are glued on unevenly, which huge blobs of hard glue its like a toddler glued them on. I was actually shocked how bad they are... they are obviously going back, thanks to Amazons return policy being the only saving grace of these horrible sellers...

C.B.: Very cute but the pieces on two of the animals didn't fit together. After spending an hour carefully sanding them down they were able to fit together and they were ready to be given to my niece. She seemed to like them so it was worth it, but one would figure that the seller would have at least tried fitting them together before shipping. I will stress again though, they are very cute.

Sara Whitlock: I got these for my friend’s 2 year old because my kids used to have a set that they loved. They were an instant hit! I had to sand a couple places down where they go together because it was too hard to close and one didn’t fit properly, but it only took 10 seconds. Totally worth it. He’s dropped them about 100 times now on the tile and the wood and the concrete floors and they haven’t chipped or broken. Solid product :)
