NarwhalCo 2-Pack of Compact Writing Pens

Russell J. Thomas: I depend, perhaps too much, on my Daytimer. Recently I lost the small pen that fit into my Daytimer wallet and enabled me to write things down. No one apparently sold a replacement, including DayTimer itself. But I found Narwhal. They had the perfect set of two pens at a more than modest price, and they got me those pens in two days. I fecommend them without hesitation.

GawkwardGawkward: I bought the pair of small pens from Amazon, and purchased the micro directly from NarWhal when I registered for the warranty. I see why they can warranty their pens: These pens are solidly made, and surprisingly heavy for their size. The clips won’t break off like a lot of pens. They come in these very cool packages and include a full set of refills. Better yet, they’ll send you refills FOR FREE when you need them! The small and micro pens are about the same length, but the micro is thinner. They easily fit into the fold of a wallet, or my tiny 4.5x3 notebook (pictured). I’ve wasted money and time buying pens that break right away, but these are really well made. NarWhal probably doesn’t have to replace many, but the warranty is there if they ever break.

Terry H: It may skip a tad when carried horizontally. Scribble a second to get it going. It's not a space pen (that have their own drawbacks). I wish I'd bought these years ago. Great purchase. Nice finish. Refills.

l3bowsk1: UPDATE 5/19/23:
After emailing Narwhalco about the issue, they sent out a replacement promptly. It seems much more solid than the original with none of the scratchiness when deploying or retracting the tip, so I'm thinking the first one was defective. Great customer service! Changing review to five stars - defects happen with even the best products, but great customer service makes all the difference. Will definitely buy more products from them.

UPDATE:
When attempting to record a video showing the issue with the barrel slipping and not operating smoothly during deploy/retraction, the problem got noticeably worse. Now the barrel almost free spins, making deployment difficult, and usually failing to fully retract altogether - I have to pull the barrel halfway off to get the mechanism to catch in order to fully deploy or retract the tip. Considering this, this is a two star product at best.

Alli: These are lovely small pens. What's not to like. Not only does it come with a lifetime warranty on all parts of the pen They send free refills freight free to American residents . I suspect the freight charges won't be to expensive outside of the USA as the refills are lightweight and would fit snugly into a standard envelope. They write nicely will be great for travel. I am thinking of getting a few more of these for stocking fillers Did i say they also arrived quickly and were really well packaged.
