Amazon Customer: I purchased this hat for when I cut my 1 acre lot in the hot Florida sun. I really like it. It’s very comfortable. I have space for my ponytail. It wicks the sweat well. The back and front flaps protect well from the sun. It’s very comfortable. Other friends have seen me with it and have purchased one for themselves. It’s great for women and men.

nicyyz: Just got my new sun hat, and I am very pleased with it.. Good quality and not as complicated as some other styles with many pieces. It provides good sun protection. I have one suggestion for the manufacture: please consider to make the face flap attachment adjustable to accommodate different shapes of faces. I noticed my nose bridge and the tip of my nose constantly touch the face flap, which can be annoying after a long time of wearing.

C. A. Schaller: I saw a similar version of this hat on Facebook, and immediately checked Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to find the same hat at a considerably lower price. I agree with other reviewers that the pink is a bit more mauve, but not enough to scream 1980's. The hat is well made and not overly crumpled from shipping. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that the crown of the hat wasn't quite as deep as I expected. Maybe it's just my head! Hats often feel too shallow to me. The draw string will come in handy on windy days. The brim is wide enough to give protection without being overly floppy or huge. I love the pony tail hole!

J. KramerJ. Kramer: I ordered the pale pink. I received watermelon red.

Pulling it out of the plastic bag, it smelled like a pet store.

Despite the smell, I tried it on. It sat on top of my head like a silly clown hat. There's no way I'd be able to pull the had down to the crown of my head for a proper fit.

Then I noticed the double label. The top label said it was a women's hat in pink. Pulling the top label back a little, I saw that the original (and real) label says Toddler/Child in watermelon red. Disappointed with the experience. I hope the vendor will amend the order before my upcoming family vacation where I was very excited to wear this hat.

I will edit this review after the vendor has an opportunity to correct the situation.

Edit: The seller promptly shipped the correct hat which arrived 1 day after my initial review! Wow, very responsive! The seller also apologized of the inconvenience. The 2nd hat we received is the correct size & color. It is a very nice hat! (still smells like a pet store ... maybe a little like fish & a little like hay, but a wash should remove the odor)
