MineMine: First of the negatives. 1. The other reviewers pointing out the difficulty of installing the internal screw were spot on. I ended up filing out the hole in the case to allow the screw hole to line up and not bind up the screw. Poorly engineered. Adding a bit of space towards the bottom helped 2. After it was mounted it wobbled, especially when it was opening, as there was excess space between the mounting bracket and the case. I installed felt spacers on the case to fill the space and stop the wobbling, again poorly engineered. 3. The mounting screw seem a bit on the light side when it comes to securing the case to the mount. I'm sure it wouldn't take much of a pry bar to rip the case off the bracket. Think using 4 or more of those screws would have been a bit more secure.
The good: 1. Fingerprint works almost everytime. 2. Keypad is a great option and works everytime. 3. Plenty of room for a fullsize pistol. 4. Multiple mounting options with the bracket are very convenient. 5. Case works great as a bedside mount.
Seems solid built. Not sure how long the batteries will last but with a key as back up I'm fine. I think all in all when on sale, 20% off, this was a great...

DannyTechSavy: It is a gun safe for easy and rapid access. Period.
Fingerprint reader works about 95% of the time, and I figured when it fails is simply because is not "smart" enough to read the finger if it is placed a little bit off or rotated. But cannot complain since you can program plenty of fingers so I programed all my 10 fingers. It also has a code you enter manually (either finger or code will open it) and it also has a regular key as backup (make sure to store the keys in a secure place).
WARNING: I would not recommend this to leave your weapon in it while you are out. If you must leave your weapon locked, I suggest you put it in a better safe. This safe is mostly to have your weapon in a safe place while being handy and ready to be used.
As for my application, I use it to keep one of my weapons next to my bed but secured as I have small kids. It works perfect for that purpose. If I have to leave my house without it, I lock it on my big gun safe with my other weapons.
One final note, it uses 4 AAA batteries. The battery holder is very small and placed on top of the weapon compartment. To access it is VERY DIFFICULT if you have big hands... and still difficult if you have...

Ethan: I own a CZ P-10F with a threaded barrel and a flashlight modification. Being a full sized pistol, plus a threaded barrel, and a flashlight, it becomes a 9mm that's on the larger side of things. While I read reviews saying this gun fits no issue, I ran into some problems:
-First, the foam was too big. Easy fix, I just cut it out to my specifications.
-Second, if I don't put my gun in exactly one way, the sights have a very high chance of rubbing up against the battery chamber of the safe. That being said, so far it doesn't seem to have caused any damage to the sights (scratching.)
-Third and BIGGEST issue almost defeats the purpose of a home defense weapon. I'm unable to fit my gun in the safe with the magazine inserted. It makes the gun too big, and the sights will just push up against the battery chamber, preventing closure and locking. You'll have to keep a round chambered, and a magazine on top of the flat part of the mounting bracket. At least that's what I do, and it seems okay. I wish I could keep it fully loaded though. You never know if the few seconds of fumbling in the dark will change an outcome of a situation.
