Kindle Customer: Tastes okay for what it is. If you're expected a gourmet taste forget it, not that it tastes bad. Just seemed a little watery and even after extra time sealed in the bag, pasta was still chewy. Will definitely serve it's purpose as a camping or survival food

Scott D.: My wife and I really enjoy Mountain House freeze dried meals. We needed items in our emergency supplies that would last more than a few months, and since these have an approximate shelf life of 30 years, we're glad to have them in bulk.
We recently went on a camping trip to sample several different popular MH meals, and rated each one.
Mac and Cheese rated 9 out of 10 (so superior to Kraft). A little al dente on the noodles when cooked per instructions, consider leaving for two extra minutes before enjoying. Good enough to stand on it's own, but really worked with grated parmesan and fresh cracked pepper.
