Pizzaiollie: My theory with this product is that it won't eliminate the original or actual odor, but when these are in my shoes, they "absorb" the odor so it gets trapped and not released outside of the shoe.
In my case, my shoes no longer stink up the car when driving home after a long tennis match.
If I take these things out, the shoes still smell. I think it simply acts as a barrier and does not actually eliminate the odor. For that, I guess you need to spray your shoes and insoles separately.

Diane: I bought these to put in my dog's shoes. We live in Florida and the pavement gets too hot to walk her without something to protect her paws. The shoes she was wearing smelled soooooo bad that I was washing them over and over and over. But, nothing seemed to remove the smell. After I bought these and started putting them in her shoes after each walk, the bad smell has gotten less and less. I've been using them for a few weeks now and the shoes still have some bad odor but not nearly as bad as before.

Alex: As a roller derby player who occasionally likes to skate without socks (yeah, yeah, judge me later), my skates can quickly accumulate an eye watering amount of stink. Another player on my team used a similar product in her gear bag, so I figured I'd see how these work. And boy howdy do they work! After practice, I pop each one into my skates before putting them away in my gear bag. The odor has been noticeably cut in half at least, and my skates in particular smell much better in general. Do these prevent bacteria and microbes? No. You'll still get stinky if you don't wash your junk. But they totally make opening my bag much less offensive.

So far, they've held up brilliantly. No snags or tears, no getting caught on the velcro of my protective gear, and I haven't had to recharge them in the sun yet. I wasn't sure if they'd work, but they're the perfect short term solution for my stink bag!

Zackary Busse: Kept these is my nursing shoes while I slept, have a problem with my shoes getting wet and smelling awful. Didn’t think they’d work but now they smell like nothing! Such a relief. Was so tired of buying new shoes every month and throwing perfectly good ones out. Also worked well with my farm boots made them smell less like animal poop! Lol

Natasha: I ordered these to withdraw any moisture in my trainers and they seem to work. My shoes don’t smell of anything so I guess they eliminate odour but not sure as they didn’t smell.

Kim A. Cook: These are amazing purifying bags. Purchased one set for a pair of my son's shoes which seemed to have a terrible odor. Left the bags in for two days and the odor was gone. They actually just smelled like rubber much like when you first purchase shoes. We were very happy to be saving these, fairly new shoes, from being tossed out. If I was standing next to my son and he was wearing the shoes I could literally smell them. Not something a high schooler wants to deal with. I will be purchasing a couple more sets of bags for my own use and have even contemplated getting them as gifts for family members because they can be used for any type of odor. These are great bags and do exactly what they say they will do. I will definitely be purchasing more of these bags and may even look into getting some other sizes for drawers in my house. Buy these bags if you have any shoes which need help. Their price is also incredibly reasonable.
