Elizabeth: The trick with using these is to have a good clean canvas, no oils, moisturizers, etc. as far as pigment density, it could be better, but fine just for fun. They are great if you enjoy having an all over blended looked because precision is not really possible. Washes off perfectly, so as I said, for fun, this is great.

For artists who do body painting, these are fun and great for small touch ups on set. I have used the black and white quite a bit for this purpose. Otherwise, they work well in tandem with tag body paints (which I use), and because they aren’t opaque necessarily, they do add some nice effects. I will probably use these to nubs and try something else. It’s not too pricy, give them a try, you might like them!

Kristofor: I ordered these for football games and although it is not as pigmented as the “Battle Paint” brand eye black it is pretty good and a portion of the price per stick.

TaylorTaylor: I searched every color. The pigment is actually really good and if you want a darker color u just keep coloring in no need to wait for it to dry. I have pretty sensitive skin so I felt a little tingle for lack of better word LOL but I’m just extra and try to put attention to everything. It’s just the feeling of knowing somethings there. No negative reaction. There’s a scar on my hand but it’s not from this LOL I did swatch the silver but it’s more like a glitter. One pic is with flash one without. Def follow instructions on back of box and youll be good. Hope this helps.also washed off with just water like effortlessly but of course use soap to be sure you remove everything.

Jennifer Young: I bought these for my 7 year old, just to play with. I'm impressed with the quality! They go on easily, the colors are very bright, easy to wash off (if you don't leave it on too long- I will say that one time she didn't wash it off very well before going to bed and you could see a faint tint on her skin for a day or two- but if you don't sleep with it on, it comes right off. So don't do that and you'll be fine. Lol). She loves them, and they keep her busy! The reviews that say it's difficult to do fine details are correct, since they are so blunt, but you could probably use a small brush if you were doing something that needed fine details. For our purposes, they are perfect. Definitely a great product, especially considering the price. Once she uses them up, I'll probably purchase again.

RH PTA: I used this for a before school free face paint activity that our PTA hosted. The face paint sticks are soft and go on very easily with out any significant pressure or extra water like other paints. You can very easily draw simple crowns, balls, flowers, etc or even make a child into a quick tiger. Beginning of school time requires quick application to catch as many students as possible without a ton of volunteers. This worked amazing!

I purchased 3 other types, not knowing what would be the best and by far these were the best! I don't even use the other types of face paint we purchased. I have since used these to do multiple similar events and they continue to impress. I have also completed a more complex blended butterfly design, when i had 20 mins to paint a face, i am not a professional, but i do watch youtube. :) Only other thing i needed was those wedge makeup sponges.

If you are doing something similar as described above, I suggest you go to the dollar store and purchase a couple of black and white eyeliner pencils (the kind you dont have to sharpen) to add finer details and you will look like a pro!!
