ash.k: This mat is thicker than typical bath mats, as advertised. It’s very soft. I don’t use it in an actual bathroom so I can’t comment on water absorbency but it worked for what I needed. Only marking it down to a 4 star because it is extremely difficult to dry completely because of the thickness. Even after all the water has been spun out and is damp, instructions say to dry on delicate cycle and even after a full cycle it’s still wet so I have to leave it out for almost a full day to dry completely.
