Amanda Gainer: I ordered this french press a year and a half ago. Although I appreciate the lack of plastic parts and the ability to keep coffee warm, the paint started chipping after just a couple of months. I peeled all the paint off, revealing a nice matte silver body. But now, the filter pieces have come apart and will not screw back together, leaving it unusable. An untimely early demise. Sad.

LindaLinda: I LOVE this French press! I’m a barista and have been wanting to find a quality french press that wouldn’t break the bank. I took a risk and bought this a year and a half ago when there wasn’t a lot of customer reviews yet. I’ve used it multiple times a week since then and it’s incredible! If you want a beautiful, unique quality French press- this is the one for you.

MaryJane: I looked through a lot of the French Press listings on here and finally decided on this one for these reasons:

1) It wasn’t made of plastic parts that cause Cancer like the most popular brand sold on Amazon - Bodum

2) It is insulated - my 2nd cup of coffee is still warm and for me, does not require reheating in the micro.

3) Sexy Design - I love the black and haven’t had any problems with it paint coming off like other French Press reviews on Amazon.

4) Sturdy solid build - I don’t have to worry about the handle falling off like other reviews for similar French Press’ that I’ve read. It’s heavy but light. Definitely not cheaply made!

5) Easy to clean - never had a problem cleaning any part of this press. It looks good as new as the first day it was delivered.

If you’re new to French Press, I recommend the James Hoffmann method. Check it out on YouTube - it’s a no fail method every time. I get my coffee (course grind) fresh from Starbucks and I can’t complain as it a great cup of coffee each time!
