Corliss hanson: I treated the area with thistles twice. The first time I used the recommended dosage, after 3 days I wasn’t seeing much change, so I added more product to the remaining solution in the sprayer. That seemed to do the trick, as the change was noticed the next day. They were brown and fading pretty fast. Great product. Use chemical gloves, safety glasses and protect your feet!

Irene Voss: Finally something that kills thistle. We bought a home 1 1/2 yrs ago. Last summer we had thistle all over backyard flower bed. I pulled and dug. Did what ever I saw on you tube to get rid of it’ll nothing worked including roundup. I read a suggestion on Nextdoor to use Thistledown. One application killed my flower garden thistles. Another application has come up in my aborvotie area. They are dead. Now they are coming up between my paver patio bricks. Will apply to them tomorrow. This is the only thing that will kill the roots. I am fighting this because both neighbors have it too. One rarely mows so they have a lot of thistle. The other mows but it keeps coming up in their grass.

Richard Zerr: My yard had a lot of thistles this year. I tried other products and the thistles would wilt but not die. I tried thistledown within a week the ones I sprayed were dead. I re applied after about a week and that was about 2 weeks ago. Just mowed tonight and didn't see one thistle. Great product. Also did not hurt the grass. The only down side was to calculate how to mix in a 2 gallon sprayer. I used 1 tbs per gallon

Seth Wilker: We were dealing with a yard full of patches of thistle and I searched high and low for a solution. I eventually found this and decided that maybe chemical warfare was the answer.
After mixing this stuff at the highest recommended concentration and spraying each individual plant, it wilted up more than enough to pull all of it out, root and everything. And the patch that we didn’t pull just got brown and crispy after a week or two, which is fine by me. Best part is that it didn’t seem to kill the grass around it in the process.
If you have thistle issues and think chemical warfare might be for you, use this stuff. It’ll do it.
