tom: I have traveled a lot in my life, and any time I have traveled with with wine bottles, I have had to wrap them in clothing. These protective bags are easy to use and inflate and do a great job of protecting the bottle. It would be nice if you could deflate and reuse, but i have just packed them in the bottom of my suitcase and reused them again.

Amazon Customer: I first used this product on a trip to France. I wanted to bring back some wine and these worked absolutely great. It is a bit of pain to figure out where to insert the nozzle and take the time to blow up the wrappers. But so worth it knowing you can pack your bottles in your checked bag and not worry. The good thing is once you blow them up, they do not deflate and you can use them again. I would suggest still putting your drinks in a ziploc and turning them upside down in the bubble wrapping for extra protection. Great product!

AJ: These wine protectors are great! I got a little frustrated at first bc I couldn't figure out how to get them to inflate correctly (the instructions aren't super clear) but I looked it up online and once I started, I blew up all of them quickly. They successfully transported wine that I was bringing home on a VERY turbulent flight and all 8 bottles made it unscathed! I wish they deflated for re-use, but they're cheap enough that I can order another set when I need more.

Diacritical: Works well when it is properly sealed. One side of the unit is supposed to be open and the other sealed so that the air pump will fill the chambers. When one side is sealed, these work fine. However, I am seeing about 15% that have no seal on two sides and therefore cannot be inflated unless one side is crimped and held closed. Otherwise, good product and not expensive. If you get these, get more than you think you need.
UPDATE: they contacted me right away and refunded the purchase. Very good interaction and they want some pics (which I will provide) to help with their QC. Adding a star due to the response.
