Rory Zwetow: I have to wear a mask for 8 hours straight at work so I've tried out a bunch of different brands and styles in the last year. Some are too tight. Some are too loose and fall down too easily. And the type of mask that hooks behind the ears hurts my ears after awhile. But this one has an adjustable draw string in the back which makes it the most comfortable and tolerable I've tried. But don't get it confused with the Mission Cooling neck gaiter. The cooling one is slightly different than this one.

Goofy JW: This was the third gaiter I purchased and I have finally found one that meets my needs for running. I do not encounter people for most of my run so I do not wear it for the entire time but I do need to have something to pull up over my mouth and nose temporarily when I do. I also have headphones, a headband ear warmer and hat on so there is a lot for the gaiter to compete with. There is no room for a mask or gaiter with straps that go around my ears so I needed a gaiter. The key features of this gaiter that make it a good fit for me are the thicker fabric, two seams down the front and most importantly a drawstring. The thicker fabric and two seams down the front keep the mask away from the inside of my mouth, allowing me to still breathe. The previous gaiters I purchased were too thin so I was breathing them in my mouth, making it hard to breathe. I felt like I was going to die. Ok, that's dramatic, but you get the point. The drawstring allows me to adjust the tightness so it will stay around my face when I pull it up. I have only had to adjust it once, before I run, and I probably don't even need to adjust it that frequently. The only downside of this gaiter is that it swivels...
