I agree 100% with what this person posted on their review. I had the same experience.
"I was very happy to receive this product. Unfortunately for me it was a waste of money. I bought this to have another monitor to my work computer. This will work great I’m sure for a personal computer. But if you work for a company where IT has restricted access for driver downloads then DO NOT buy this product. It should have in the description that a driver must be installed and you need a disk drive. Who even has disk drives anymore???? Well to sum it up I can’t even use this for what I purchased it for. Complete waste of my time and money. Amazon delivered awesome as usual, but failed in the description of the product"

I received this item and it took all of 5 mins to set up. It comes with a small disc that you will have to install (driver) which is super fast. After that it is literally plug and play. LOVE IT!!

It did not work on my old Win7 Thinkpad. Displayed the image but with color distortion and significant flashing. It works fine on my new W10 laptop, so ultimately it worked out for me. Take note that with a USB-2 port, you'll only get 800x600.
