JJ: Pros:
-Price (when compared to the big name company, who has gotten a few bad reviews re: durability of their matt)
-Storage (Trifold design)
-hardly moves (except of a few bad fat shots) just placed it down in my backyard
- really like the surface for tee shots (see pic, can accept different tee lengths)
-doesn’t leave much (if at all) any residue on club heads
-rough area is decent, can somewhat get a real ball to sink a bit in. (See pic, foam ball, dropped ball, and placed ball)
After first use, it doesn’t look like there’s any “damage” to it

Cons:
-took quite awhile to ship (international shipping, and it is understandable due to the global pandemic)
- first unboxing, smelt like chemicals (probably the glue)
- can see some residue (glue?, see pic) hopefully this isn’t a sign of poor durability
-some of the rough grass seems to be not glued in fully, (yellow brown blades, see pic)

Things I’ll be looking out for;
Will the mat be durable (especially here in the Tropical heat) will the glue on the surfaces hold up?
Durability of the tee shot area, will a fat shot make a divot?

Bill: I've had this mat for a few weeks and used it many times. It gets the job done but have room for improvement.

I'll start with the positives first.
I like how it folds up to a very compact package for easy storage. Its durable and sturdy as far as I can tell so far. I can see it holding up very well for a long time especially if not left out in the elements. I felt the price was right.

However...It's definitely small as many have pointed out. Its big enough to hit a ball off of but you have to position the ball dead center of the surface you are hitting off of or you could hit the side of the mat. My biggest problem, and maybe I don't know how to use them properly, is that the three surfaces all hit the same for me. I'm using plastic practice balls in my backyard so maybe with a real ball there would be a difference? I don't know. The ball just sits on top of the rough so the rough doesn't even make a difference. I guess a real ball would have more weight and would drop down into the rough? If you're using plastic balls this mat is likely not the best option. Lastly the mat is an inch thick putting the ball an inch or so above your feet on flat ground. I bigger mat...

magnus3rd: Going in I felt like this would be a $40 purchase that i would have to make again in a year or so. I knew this thing would get beat up and need replaced. I am sure that is the case, but not in the time line I thought. I have hit probably 1k balls off this thing and while it does have a few hacks in it, it is still pretty much like it came here. I can't believe how sturdy it is. I mean the force that it takes on every swing is crazy to not have that grass come loose from the rubber. Well done Milliard. I love this thing. Tri-fold is awesome too. Folds down small. If and when I tear it up I will for sure being buying from you folks again. Excellent hitting mat.

JRCross: One of the most frustrating things about the course driving ranges this time of year (early spring) is that they use the mats permanently attached to the concrete at the head of the range. It feels like hitting off hard pan and not really helping to improve one's swing. One can use this little mat to help when put on top or along side the range mats. It makes a much better lie that is closer to fairway conditions. It folds compactly to fit in the back seat or trunk to be brought out when the range is too wet to use the real grass (happens more often than one might think). With the addition of a generic foot scraper door to stand on, a good practice can be had.

Denver Griz: I ordered the Milliard Golf 3-in-1 Turf Grass Mat which arrived promptly, was well-packed and, frankly, possessed even higher quality design, materials and workmanship than I expected. Almost immediately my son-in-law and his friends took it outside and were engaged in chipping, pitching and similar contests that would have torn up our lawn—but not with the Milliard 3-in-1 Mat! After only a few days, it has absorbed thousands of swings and looks virtually like new. I’m so glad I read the reviews and bought the higher-quality mat instead of one of its flimsy, cheaper competitors. This product will provide valuable golf skills practice and many hours of games and fun for our family for years to come.
I have only one suggestion: find a shorter, simpler name!
