Tribunal: I can honestly say this might be the only time I've dealt with a company THEN seen their mission statement and went "Wow, yep, that's 110% accurate".
"Be kind. Be generous. Always pay it forward."
This company truly cares and helped me so much when Amazon caused issues (which seems to be happening more and more frequently lately...). Customer service was beyond my wildest expectations and I appreciate it so much so that I wasn't left hanging for my ACL reconstruction.
As to the crutches themselves, they are nice. I hate any crutch with a passion (having two bum legs and not the best hands either means they suck extra hard) but these are for sure easier and more comfortable than the standard variety. I feel much more stable on them. Construction seems very sturdy, haven't had any issues. They feel much more like a natural extension of your arm (similar to forearm crutches, but better for total non-weight-bearing). I don't regret my purchase in the slightest. If you think they might help, I recommend you try them! They're affordable enough, you could always donate them if they don't work for you.

Sharon: Bought these after researching dozens of different crutches - and following a practice run at home with ordinary auxiliary crutches my orthopedic doc gave me before knee surgery, I realized immediately ordinary crutches suck! I needed crutches that wouldn't hurt my wrists and shoulders...
It's now week 4 post knee surgery, no weight bearing on my knee for 6wks and I am 100% certain there's absolutely NO WAY I would have made it this far without Life Crutch! Incredibly ergonomic & comfortable, much less stress on my wrists and forearms, and they allow you to move forward much smoother than regular crutches.
No matter what crutch you use, your arm pits will eventually get sore because your body isn't used to crutching around & your arms get tired, so you lean on them, but these crutches do a much better job of keep you from slouching and kept the arm pit soreness to a minimum.
I've already recommended them to a friend getting foot surgery.
The price is right for the value and I'm very happy I bought these crutches!

Arlanie Mor: Why pay more than twice as much for the "Inmotion Pro" version ($120)? This Life crutch ($50) seems very sturdy, comfortable, light and elegant. I guess the difference is that the other has a fancier shape, heavier handles with right/left flanges to lean on, and comes in colors, and has rocking tips and apparently a spring. Also it has an elastic cord inside that is supposed to make it easy to fold the pieces, meaning that the cord will be stretched and rubbed against the metal rims whenever you do that: not a good idea in hiking poles, much less for crutches, because you're trusting your life to a rubber band. If you weigh more than 300 pounds, you *might* want the pro; otherwise, why bother? I happened to have the same heavy grips (ordered separately, tried to return, they said just keep 'em); put those on, but changed back: really too heavy and annoying, because they only work one way, so crutches are not interchangeable. These grips that come with the Life crutch are solid plastic (no padding to shred), like bike handles, and half the weight (seriously!) and there's no right or left to worry about. Both grips slant downward, which is just fine, and the cheap ones have a longer...

Dawn Reagan: I think I’m one of the very few people who as a child or young adult never had an injury that required crutches. Almost everyone seems to have a pair of them stashed in a closet. Not me. I recently hurt my knee badly enough that I knew I had to take some weight off the leg to get around, so I decided to order a pair of crutches. A little searching on Amazon, and I found these. The crutches came in a box w/ the handles detached, hardware to attach them and instructions for assembly and adjustment. It took some tinkering before I found the right positions for the right crutch height and handle positions for me, but BF and I had it done within 20 minutes or less. I did a little practice walking with them. Since I never used crutches before, getting around proved far more difficult than expected. I ended up using a wheel chair instead. The problem was me, not the crutches. Balance is not my strong suit, so trying to use crutches of any sort is going to be difficult. That said, I’m keeping these and hoping I’ll never have to use them. Given the handle issues some have described, I think these are fine for short term use like for a sprain or broken bone, but maybe not for...

V.konopacki: I wish there was a bit more customization. Being short I really needed the height low, but then you have to make the handled really high or low and now where I needed them to be as the lower portion of the crutch was blocking the holes I need to use to place the handles. This forced me to hunch over and caused a lot of pain to my back. Also the cap of the bae of the crutch was very stiff which is fin if you are somewhere perfectly flat and level. But most places are not that way and would often be at an angle and a very possible fall risk.
