R MR M: I bought the mi-fold because I liked the compact design. It is very light and small. Easy to move from one vehicle to the next. Easily fits in a bag for convenient carrying. It doesn't take up any space in the car because it fits right under the child. It grows with your child. You can adjust the setting of the seat belt holders, red tabs on the sides, depending on how wide your child is. This is nice so that when others sit in the back seat with him, they have more room! Contrary to what other reviews have said about the "red plastic tabs not locking into place", I took the mifold and hit the red tabs hard with my hands several times to see if they moved from the adjusted position. They stayed very firm and in place, there was no movement at all with them. The quick clip snaps to the shoulder strap and you can adjust it to keep the strap off the child's neck. My son loves it because he is no longer sitting up high in a booster. He is sitting flat on the seat because the mifold is so thin. His legs used to sometimes fall asleep in the booster on longer car rides because of how it was hitting the back of his legs. He hasn't complained about that since switching...

TweakerAZ: We ordered 2 of the same color at the same time. Date of manufacture is one month apart..HOWEVER...the 2 units are NOT the same.
- One unit has the adjustable sides that only lock outward, but not inward and will easily slide back in. I think this was the initial design based on all the reviews I have seen.
- The other unit does not have that same design so the sides do solidly lock in the position they are set at. It appears they have been updated to keep them from sliding inward as well. I am guessing this is when the design may have been updated.
This is kind of annoying because I really like how the second unit operates. I am honestly considering purchasing another locally instead of on Amazon to insure I get a newer unit with the updated design. The change makes a big enough difference to consider it.

2 other issues that can be a problem.
- In certain contoured seats like the Audi we had, the rear portion of the MiFold does want to fold upward which changes the fit for the child and can be uncomfortable. SS: La compramos para un viaje y fue la peor decisión, había que estar parando porque mi hijo se resbalaba y el cinturón le queda en abdomen y no en los muslos. Además que es muy incómoda, claro si fuera segura ni modos pero ni eso. POR el precio hay mejores opciones.

HomeMama: I have been debating on getting one of these for a while and finally decided to order it. I thought this would be nice for family and friends to use, so we don't have to mess with our big, bulky boosters all of the time. While we haven't used it for that, I am so happy with this purchase!

We farm and have to move and shuffle equipment and vehicles around from field to field, especially during harvest when we can easily have a combine, a tractor pulling a grain cart, two semis, a straight truck, and anywhere between two and four trucks or SUVs. This booster worked like a dream to keep in my mom bag for those times we play "musical motorized vehicles"! Daughter wants to ride with Grandpa? Grab the mifold! She wants to ride to the elevator to dump grain in the semi? Grab the mifold! Mom has to grab something from the shop and needs to take a different truck? Grab the mifold! We need to move to a different field several miles away and who knows who will be driving what? Grab the mifold!

Very easy to use. Very easy to store. A little bigger than a large pocketbook, so very compact...yet adjustable so it fits various size bottoms. Hoping to buy a second...
