Sarah Ruiz: Bought this dictionary for my son who is in 8th grade Spanish. I loved the price so took a chance on getting this one. It's the perfect little dictionary. Great size to throw into his backpack and he let me know it was very useful for him to use during class. He really liked that he could search words from both English to Spanish and then also from Spanish to English. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is new to learning the Spanish language.

Anon_Gloucs: Purchased a kindle version beginners Spanish course by Paul Noble and needed a hard copy dictionary to check words without constant searching backwards and forwards in electronic book.
Fine as a starting point and basic back up at a very reasonable price.
However, I quite quickly wished that I'd spent more on a much more comprehensive dictionary as despite 40,000 entries and 50,000 translations it doesn't contain many of the words I'm looking for.
