Love this exercise book....: I love these pens. They write very smooth. For those complaining about the ball point slipping up inside the pen....The lower section of the pen pulls open and you can tighten the refill pen and it will come back out. You may be able to refill these too. Yes it was annoying at first but these write sooooo smoothly and look very attractive. I really love these pens! You can buy them at staples individually once in a while but these cost twice as much. These make great stocking stuffers especially for teens who will really get a kick out of them and all the colors are awesome. I found refills for these through tecunit 2.75 and they have blue and black.
