Dominique M: This is the best gift my daughter could've received for her second birthday. Not only does she love it, but my husband and I love it as well. As a former drummer, I find the sound quality a lot better than some of the cheaper sets on the market. We might actually have to get some drum pads to muffle the sound a little bit. This set also comes with a shorter set of drumsticks and an adjustable stool, very similar to an adult sized set. Definitely worth the money and I'm sure my daughter will get tons of use out of it before she moves into my old set.

ghislaine pruckner: Avec un peu de réglage elle sonne comme une vraie (la grosse caisse aura besoin d'une nouvelle peau de frappe).
Les armatures sont trop légère et le système de réglage ne tient pas très bien.
Dommage pas de hi-hat.
Je conseillerai de mettre de mettre un peu de coté et de prendre le kit avec le hi-hat car elle pourra faire jouet et évoluer vers vrais instrument. Celle-ci stagnera au rang de jouet (cher ducoup)

Chris Graham: Can't speak for durability, as we just set it up, but this little kit is pretty impressive. Looks, sounds, and plays great. I think I've had as much fun with it as my 3yo.

One thing to add: DAMPENING. The sound of the tom and kick drums will be greatly be improved by tossing a little cloth/small towel in them. But more importantly, for the sake of your poor eardrums, dampen the cymbal. Ducktape a small piece of cloth to the underside. Took me a few mins of 3yo smashing the cymbal for me to figure this out. My ears are ringing add I write.

TL;DR: With a little dampening, it's a great little kit. You'll be impressed.

DillyDilDillyDil: I'm an adult with a small recording studio room in my apartment. I wanted to get a basic, cheap, compact drumkit to practice & record demos with because I was not satisfied with the robotic sound of drum programs like Hydrogen in my music. Even with proper damping this isn't a pro quality kit, but if you are into raw, lo-fi music like I am, that isn't an issue.
This kit has a few kinks that need to be worked out for serious users, but it is a great starter kit for kids as is. I did not have any issues with the hardware like some other reviewers did. It was fairly easy to assemble. The kit fits into a corner of my small studio nicely - it takes up FAR less space than a full size set.
I ordered the green kit and it is a nice, metallic emerald green color with a hint of teal. It looks good. The color in the photos is accurate on both my computer monitor and phone screen.

The smaller drums are naturally quieter than larger ones - a bonus for apartment dewllers. I suggest damping the tom and snare, and stuffing a pillow or two inside the bass drum. Another consequence of their size is higher pitch.
