Men's Skechers Sport Afterburn Memory Foam Strike-On Training Shoes

bamajt: I like these shoes mostly for the convenience factor. They’re easy on easy off. No laces to drag around a bathroom floor. I use them for working out mostly. I still use laced shoes for running as these would probably slip as you’re lifting your foot. But for walking, biking and lifting weights you can’t go wrong. Definitely order your normal shoe size or even consider a half size smaller.

J: I use these as work shoes with some added insoles (not crazy about memory foam in shoes, the stuff disintegrates quickly) and they're very comfortable. I have a very physical job where I'm almost constantly moving and 1 pair will usually last me anywhere from 6 to 8 months and I'm sure if you don't put them under as much stress as I do they'll last far longer. I pull pallet jacks a lot and hit my heels with the wheels pretty often and I don't even feel it. They're very sturdy. I try to buy them when they're on sale since I replace them once or twice a year and I'm on my 5th or 6th pair and will order them again when the time comes. Took off one star because of the memory foam but if that doesn't bother you they're 5 stars all the way.

hahvahdsquah: I am a size 12 and unlike some other reviewers commented, these are a great fit for me - not too snug and easy to slip on. I ordered these through Prime Wardrobe after trying on and returning the Skechers Gowalk 6: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08QY86V6Z which I found did not provide enough support - they had plenty of cushioning, but the sole was very flat way too flexible, almost like a slipper, and walking in them hurt my ankles because of the weird way my foot had to bend. The Afterburn has more of a sneaker shape to it (rounded up at the toe) and provides more support/rolls with my foot better when I walk.

Clement Rouleau: Wanted a slip on/off winter shoe for the short winter errands around the house
No lace-up or velcro, so very easy on/off without having to sit down
As mentioned wide is wide, so to wear with thick socks
Anyway the shoe itself is not that much cold wheater insulated
Really worth the time to apply a weather proofing treatment as the suede finish really absorbs water in around freezing wheater

M RileyM Riley: Our tractor rolled on my husband’s leg and he can no longer bend his knee! So, try putting a pair of shoes on without bending your knee! I read everything I could find about easy on shoes and when a man in a wheelchair recommended these shoes I ordered a pair. I got his normal size 11 and they were too short and tight on the injured foot. Knowing that he would want to wear heavier socks this winter I went up a whole size to a 12. They just arrived and fit perfect! He was able to put them on himself and not have to wait for me to help him! They look great and he says they are super comfortable!

Ice-Child: I have had a pair for a while now, just switched jobs at work so needed another pair. Takes a little bit to break the toes area in but still a very comfortable shoe. Love my sketchers, have like 4 pair, one is my casual shoe, other is a steel toe for work, then two pairs of these. that should say volumes for what I think of these shoes. If and when they finally wear out, will gladly buy another pair. They do last, its a very rugged shoe that fits well, and non-skid considering we have spots at work that end up with oil from time to time. Well worth the money.
