Men's Insulated Pull-On Boots by The North Face: Chilkat IV

Alexandra: My husband got a pair of these last winter as shoes he could keep buy the door for quick runs outside in the bad weather and for shoveling/clearing off the cars. They're so warm and comfy that I started using them myself, but I got tired of wearing shoes that were 6 sizes too big. I wear a size 7 womens and ordered a size 9 mens so that I could wear them with very thick socks and step in and out of them without having to tug them on and off. They're so warm and comfortable - I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Grandpa B: I normally wear a 9.5 in slip on loafers or light hiking shoes. I had tried on a size 10 of these boots in a big box sports store but to small a fit. They didn't have a larger size but Amazon did. Size 10.5 worked well, comfortable. I did a mile plus walk on paved path with no problem

TOMAS: I found these boots to be comfortable but run a bit too small, I'm normally a 10.50 but my toes hit the ends of the boots without heavy socks. Still, I am able to wear these boots and they keep my feet relatively warm; although I have not worn these for extended periods of time in the cold. They are well built and should last a long time.

Clay: Bought these boots to handle cold, snowy, and icy winters in northeast Indiana. They seemed warm and well made, but even ordering a half size up these were too small. I have relatively thin legs and because these are pull on boots, I just felt like I was swimming in them. If I went up another half size to get a full size over my normal shoe size, they would’ve just slipped off. Also, the footbed has some built in ridges to go under your toes which just seemed weird to me. Maybe if i had gotten an half size up that would’ve felt better, but I wonder if other people have found that to be annoying even with their correct size. Returned for a different pair of lace up winter boots.

The Ridge Runner: I had high hopes for these boots, but alas, they are just to difficult for me to walk in. I go up and down a lot of hills and because the sole isn't very flexible and because it's a pull-on, my heel slides up and down on the uphills. It's like my feet are working against the boot, rather than the boot working with my feet. These were the proper size, too, I could not have worn a smaller size because my toes were already pretty tight, though the heels are not held in place well at all. I would say these are good commuter boots, where most walking is done on level surfaces, but not for serious walking. The construction and materials on them are superior!
