Maximm 4-Pack Black ETL Listed 3-Outlet Cube Plug Adapter

E. Guyer: I bought this to use in a power strip with a large power brick that was taking up 3 outlets worth of space. The 90 degree rotation is exactly what I needed. It's a bit wide though. Some larger plugs might not fit in the outlet right next to it. In the Q and A it said you could put two of these in a standard duplex outlet and that is absolutely not true. I considered returning these but they are so cheap I decided to keep them. I don't plan on putting two of these in the same duplex outlet anyway. If you need to do that you should buy a power strip.

Casey Rader: Arrived quickly and packaged well. I ordered this because my kitchen counter only has outlets on one wall, and didn't want to have to cluster all of my appliances in one outlet or use an unsightly power bar. While I wish this came in a 1 or 2 pack, I can see using these in other places around the house. I like that there are three options, not just on each side, but the front as well. I can definitely see these being useful behind furniture too. (For safety, I'd probably get an outlet cover for the front receptacle - not sure that's the right word.)
Can't speak to sturdiness as it's only been in use for a few days, but if I have any issues - or it transforms into a robot that makes breakfast for me - I'll update. Although if the latter happens, I expect you'll see me on the news.

K. BushawK. Bushaw: The devices seem to be good quality.
I have found there are a few different orientations of outlets on similar adapters.
I recommend you take care to consider the orientations. See photos.

You should select based on things like whether you will be plugging in big AC adapter blocks and the prong orientations of them, just extension cords, or something else. I bought some of two different designs.

Sometimes I find it convenient to extend the first adapter with another one or two to make additional outlets.
Note what happens in the photos when I do that. The outlets are are not designed to maintain the same orientation to each other when you plug another one into the outlet on its face.

UPDATE: Size matters!
In trying to use these, I have realized they are significantly larger than the traditional triple-tap adapters I have used for years (Leviton still makes those). I guess they were interested in more modern styling for these but the end result is I cannot use them on outlets that have 2 USB ports between them because these block the adjacent USB port enough that I cannot use it. Of course, no problem if I don't want to use the port.

G.S. Fordham: The product itself seems great. The amount of things I am daisy chaining into them is most assuredly a fire hazard, though.

The shape is also good, because when I plug a few wall warts, like AC units, into them, slots are not blocked, so there's still more room to up the risk of burning down my house!! :-D

I even added Jim from my insurance company right to my speed dial!

But in all seriousness, the product is good, and the price is excellent for the quantity you get. The unblocked slots aspect is also great, because I have been sooooo tired of paying for 3-way splitters and only getting 2 slots, due to plugs blocking the last one.

Delbert MatlockDelbert Matlock: It works. Not the best quality, but it seems to do the job. Adapter is very light, which makes it feel a bit cheap. Internal pins don't hold very well so what you plug in may wobble a bit. Three things to note. First, when plugged in to a normal adapter with the ground pin at the bottom, the label will be at the bottom. That may be a good thing for most people. Second, the orientation changes so instead of the ground pin being on the bottom it will be on the side, for all three faces. That may interfere with power bricks for some people. Third, this item does not have a UL label on it. Probably fine, but just be aware that it was not tested by Underwriter Laboratories.

After all that, considering that I could get a four pack for close to the price of a single adapter at Home Depot, this is a good deal. Also, for some applications having two of the plugs come out from the side may be a good thing so the cords go along side the wall instead of sticking straight out.
