NancyNancy: I bought this because I read about using liquid seaweed for hydroponics. (I really basically never fed or fertilized my plants before this.) So I bought it and put it on the “I’ll use it later” shelf. “Later” finally came. Not knowing what it really even was, something in the back of my brain thought it might be good for roots in my new plants, or newly repotted plants. Holy cannoli! I noticed it first with my african violets. They had been ignored, and were looking a little droopy. A day or two after using this, their leaves were VERY erect!! I started using it in my other plants, and wooooo weee!! I’m propagating a fiddle leaf fig, and it started showing signs of roots in about 3 days! (The photo is after about 12 days.) And my starter tomatoes are getting stronger too! I love it!!

Joolie: This stuff is actually really amazing. I got it not expecting much but needing to try something new to convince my struggling plants to grow. My plants were alive, but none of them were showing any new growth at all, and it was well past the point where they should have. Even the plants known to be "vigorous growers" weren't growing at all.
I definitely did NOT expect a miracle when I applied this, but that's basically what I got. Within 48 hours, all my plants were perkier and greener. I had a lonicera ground cover that had been so pitiful, so dark and limp and lying so flat on the ground that the person who helps me weed had to put a ring of pinecones around it so that he would remember it was there and not step on it. Two days after applying the seaweed extract, it was sitting up and getting brighter green. Today, after several weeks of using it, the plant is sprawling around, massive growth everywhere. It's legitimately lush.
I had a lapageria rosea cutting that had been dug up by a squirrel, all the leaves chewed off by slugs and I thought it was dead. Seriously, I thought it was DEAD. I decided to water it in with this anyway, and I'm glad I did. It now has...

Jeff Wignall: I used this in my vegetable garden (and in some container plants) just a week ago, so I really can't tell what the results are yet, but it does seem to have perked things up a bit. I had an impatient basket that was looking a bit sickly and after giving it seaweed, it seemed healthier within about 24 hours. (I think the soil in that pot was very nutrient deficient.) I also noticed that my tomato plants seemed more "alert" if that's a good description--more vigorous, I guess.
But, as said. I did put it on all sorts of plants in my garden--tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins, herbs, etc. and I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but the plants seem a bit healthier looking. I also emailed Maxicrop to ask if it was safe from vegetables because there is a small sticker on the bottle that says not for agricultural/food use. But I was assured it was safe and that the label was a part of an exhaustive process that plant-fertilizer manufacturers are put through for organic certification and other reasons and that adding that label is a requirement of the on-going process. The company was very responsive and told me that they're trying to get more product information on...

Slack tide: Maxicrop is a must for any new plant going in the ground. I use this a soil drench diluted with water 1 oz per gallon of water. It causes a huge release of nitrogen to the roots and has natural anti fungal properties. It’s outstanding to guarantee successful new plantings as it encourages root development.
When fertilizing house potted plants I use 1/4 teaspoon maxicrop, 1/4 teaspoon liquid humic acid, and 1/4 teaspoon miracle grow per one gallon of water for weekly watering. Works great!
Have also used beneficial bacteria before as well with the above. This is incredible to see your yield increase in fruit or vegetable yield.
