Dylan P: Great book for toddlers to early elementary. I even followed it up by having the children make a "Sneezy the Snowman". This book has all the important items to a good children's book: simple story, something kids are familiar with, rhyme, areas to predict, areas to chime in with phrases, and just plain enjoyment.

Robyn: A fun story about a silly snowman who keeps melting and needs help from the children. Loved the rhyming, colourful pics and size of book. Most importantly, the preschool children found it funny!

Amazon Customer: Kids loved the repetition and silliness of Sneezy. It was a lot of fun to read together. We highly recommend it.

The Speak Boutique: I've been using this book in my practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. There are tons of S-blends to help my students struggling with Speech Sounds Disorders. The various problems and attempted solutions in the plot are also wonderful for helping children practice their narration and sequencing skills.

Scenario: Sneezy is not rude. I just have to say that first, just in case people think that this book shouldn't be bought because of reviews that suggest that. I bought this book because it is not Christmasy and just focuses on the season (warmth, snow, and eagerness for summer).
It might seem like Sneezy is a rude snowman just because he doesn't say "thank you" after the children rebuild him and after they share their items with him. However, when you read the entire story and it concludes it doesn't even register, because they are all having fun. I don't read the story to my nephews in a belligerent manner (but in a fun and silly way) and this is how I think it was intended to be read.
Also, my nephew who is 4, said, "Snowmen can't talk, they're not real," as soon as I showed him the first page. So basically, kids can see and feel things in completely different ways than we do. If your kid is perceptive enough to make the connection between charitableness and gratitude, and what should be said in communication during these moments, then I would definitely point out that "Yes, poor Sneezy is just too cold to remember to say thank you."
My nephew was perceptive enough...
