CJCJ: The portion size is decent. I've been pleasantly surprised as to how tender the beef is. I prefer to heat the bowl up in a conventional oven for 45 to 50 minutes over putting it in a microwave. It's seasoned well but sometimes, depending on my mood, I'll throw a dash of soy sauce on it.
I can eat this for lunch a couple of times a week and not get tired of it.
Addendum on 7.24.21: After I wrote this review I answered a customer question about whether or not alcohol is an ingredient in this product. Before I answered, I was sure to check the list on the box. Surprisingly, "alcohol" does show up on line 3 of the ingredients list. I would have guessed no had I not seen it myself. After some research I learned that alcohol in this product is due to the soy sauce it contains. (See the photo.) I'd imagine that the alcohol burns off quickly when the product reaches the desired cooking temperature.
