Trueblue: It works according to my husband, and I can see when he uses it, His beard is much softer and tame.

Only drawback......the scent is too strong. Should have listened to what others posted before deciding on this scent for him.

Husband said the scent "Opens the sinuses" Lol. but to me his wife, I really think he smells wonderful.

Shannon Seyler: Bought this for my husband as the reviewers all said it was the best one to buy. We concur! I love how the scent is not overpowering but pleasant smelling and my husband says that the balm works to make his beard soft and keeps it that way all day. He wanted it because the masks we have to wear to work now are messing with his beard and he needed something to help it stay soft, and this works beautifully for both the purpose of helping keep his beard soft and manageable all day.

mkcro: I've tried a number of products from beard oil, to waxes, to balms, to butter. This one is top notch. I was worried about how hard the butter was when I opened the container as it looked like many waxes do. This was exactly what I was attempting to avoid when moving away from beard wax. I gave this a shot anyways, and boy am I glad I did. You need to use your fingernail to scrape a small amount of the butter out of the tin, and then rub it between your hands to melt it. Unlike many of the waxes I've tried, this melts super easy and is easy to spread throughout my beard. Due to it's original hard consistency I've found that it provides good hold throughout the day. The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the smell. I thought cool mint would be nice and refreshing, but it smells like an overpowering after dinner mint. Needless to say it really wakes you up when you're putting this on your face first thing in the morning. I will be switching things up and purchasing the non-mint flavor next time.
