The 4.125” diameter was a good fit for the can-less 4” LED lights. Cut four holes through plaster and blue board and the cutting grit still looks good (bi-metal hole saws dull and become useless almost immediately when cutting plaster). Used a silicone dust bowl to control the mess. These two items together made short work of the job.

Kadi: Works great for a job or 2, but after that, its pretty much worn out. Did the job for me though!

Amazon Customer: I have only used this once but it drilled thru my stucco wall very easily. I would recommend it no problem

TJF:
I had to drill a 4-1/8 hole through a brick veneer over 1/2-in plywood. I was a bit hesitant to select a hole saw, based on the variety of good-and-bad comments for a variety of diamond-grit bole saws. I "held my breath" and purchased this one, based on the "Amazon Choice" status, and it worked out very well.
My first thought was that I would need to rent a serious drill for the brick, but I started the hole using a 1/2-in Dewalt portable. This hole saw started to cut into the brick quite nicely, even though I used it dry. I bottomed out in a few minutes, then chilled out the plug, so that I could continue. I went though the full width of the brick in about 5 or 6 minutes, where I was expecting to spend more time doing it. Then I wondered how well it would cut through the plywood ... no problem. I had my hole cut in way less time than I expected.
Great hole saw, and it does work in both directions. I did not need to cut in reverse, but that feature is there if needed.

Graybeard327: Used this to cut 4 1/8 inch exhaust vent holes in Hardy fiber cement trim board ( 1 inch thick concrete board ) and it worked perfectly! The important thing is to watch your speed and if you're using a hand held drill, watch for it grabbing. The carbide grit works really well and does a great job of keeping buildup to a minimum. After cutting 4 perfect holes with a standard heavy duty drill (not a hammer drill) , the saw showed no wear at all. The saw cut through with minimal tear out on the back side of the material cut. My only gripe is the maximum recommended speed precludes using this saw with a drill press. The maximum speed you can use on this hole saw is about 250 rpm according to the tech rep at Magnus Industries.. I intended to use it with a drill press but the minimum speed on my drill press was about 550 rpm, way too high to use the saw on. Overall very impressed with the quality and especially at the price paid. And the standard arbor is a nice plus, you don't have to buy or order a specific one for this saw.

Marcus E Chrisman: I attempted to drill through brick, with no success. The only way it would go through is to drill a number of pilot holes at the outside radius of the hole.
