ForeverYOUNG: This is terrific, most purpose rice. I cook in my rice cooker. I don't make sushi - so I can't say it work well for that - but it is very tasty white rice in my opinion. I do prefer it in the twist top plastic container.

JSmith: I used half the bag for a double batch of risotto. I used olive oil, sweet onion, jalapenos, garlic and vegan chicken broth, a bit of wine and nutritional yeast, black pepper and parsley. It was so good it borders addictive!!! I can't believe the whole bag was only $4 Because this could feed 8! You may want to add a veggie and protein but depending on your budget and taste you could absolutely feed 8 for about four dollars. Because of the texture it feels more like a comfort meal than just rice. I wonder how families on strict budgets make it and I think bulk whole foods is the answer. It only took 35 minutes to cook the risotto.

GiGi: This makes great sticky rice! My favorite super easy recipe: put 1 Cup Arborio rice and cup and a half of water in Instant Pot. Top with seasonings of choice. (My favorites are garlic powder, onion flakes, celery flakes, soy sauce and butter.) Add some frozen vegetables and a slab of frozen cod (I get mine at C***co.) Close the steam vent and press the RICE button on the Instant Pot. When timer beeps, turn off the Keep Warm function and wait ten minutes. Dinner is served!... Good rice, and it's grown in the USA.
