aaron samuel: So i was looking around for a new mouse to help add more tactical ability when playing my FPS games (lost light) and with this mouse having two buttons on the left side with your thumb, their is also two on top left where you use your index finger, giving me the ability to have quick access to be able to turn on flashlights and laser sight in a snap.

Another great feature that comes with this mouse is the fact that you are able to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse to any setting that can help you set the perfect sensitivity strength for any game or program, there is also a button on the left side that can switch between two different sensitivity profiles. instantly.

You dont need any download any special programs to be able to manage and use the features.

The design on the mouse is a perfect fit into your hand and is comfortable as all get out. and i am extremely impressed and satisfied with everything involved with the design and implementation.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS FOR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO BOOST YOUR FPS GAMEING ABILITY!

Irum S.: The Logitech G502 HERO SE excels in delivering top-notch performance and versatility for gamers. Its HERO sensor ensures accurate tracking, while the 11 programmable buttons and adjustable DPI settings allow for tailored experiences across various genres. The ergonomic design and customizable weight system add comfort and control. The software's ease of use simplifies customization, although the shape may not suit all hand sizes perfectly. In a nutshell, the G502 HERO SE is a solid gaming mouse choice that balances performance and customization effectively.

Kyle: I’ve used the 502 for a few years. I had the black one for over four years before the left click started to give out. It’s a good price for a good mouse. Only complaint is the click seems more sensitive than the last one I had. Also I love the thumb rest I don’t think I can use a mouse without it now.

Kojovi: This review is for the Logitech G502 Hero. Back in 2010 I had purchased the Logitech G500 and LOVED it! Very comfortable, solid build, lots of customization options, and worked forever. After 10 years my cat chewed through the cord and so I had to get a new mouse. It was an easy choice to try the Logitech G502 since I thought it was the next iteration of the mouse I loved so much.

HOWEVER, after opening it I could see the there was a downgrade in build quality. The mouse felt harder yet more fragile than my previous one. Still, for the price it didn't seem too bad. However, after about a year and a half of medium duty use, the primary left click button began to stop working, requiring either a lot of pressure or hard tapping to get it to work. Very frustrating since I've bought Logitech products for over twenty years and been very happy with them previously.

I will say that perhaps my mouse is the exception. The price of the mouse was pretty reasonable, and if I hadn't had such a great experience with the G500 I probably would not have been as disappointed. I really like the being able to switch between a smooth and clicky scroll wheel, a must for gaming. Would...

Terry V: I'm a big fan of this mouse. The extra thumb button and scroll wheel unlock are glorious, and the 3 extra buttons on top of the mouse are situationally helpful, even if they're a little awkward to get to.
The G502 is a medium size (definitely smaller than something like a Razer Deathadder) and it fits my hand comfortably.
My biggest gripe is that this mouse is hefty at 121g. Nowhere near the heaviest gaming mouse, but I can see why a lot of people suggest getting a gpro instead. Given the chonk of the mouse, the included weight set doesn't make much sense, and removing the weight compartment from the mouse could've helped them save a gram.

GHub has come a long way and it is basically necessary for this mouse to function at full potential. I have had near zero issues with profile switching or other features in the past year. It has come a LONG way since the constant profile issues and bricking its own install of yesteryear.

Ever since buying my first G502 Hero SE in 2019, I have been waiting for a sale for a second one to use with my laptop and to keep as a backup.

On black Friday 2021, I bought my second one but I noticed some differences.

InkoInko: Overall I really like this product and think it is built nicely with quality plastics. It is a comfortable size and has a nice feel to it when holding it. My old mouse was much slimmer and annoying to hold unlike the g502 which when playing games or just in general doing work for prologned amounts of time definitely is a more comfortable hold. The thumb rest is really nice, i was worried because most of the review videos i watched were people with bigger hands so I thought maybe it wasn't going to sit right with me but it ended up being very nice and i really like it.

The program (Logitech G Hub) is very nice and runs smoothly. The lighting is very easy to change and you can basically custom make any color you want for the logo and primary lighting. It also has a bunch of preset affects for the lighting aswell. The dpi is very easy to set depending on what you want to set it as and also what other dpi's you want to set without having to open the program instead just clicking a button on the mouse right next to the primary clicker. The programable buttons themselves are very nice and easy to set. I don't really set all of them only 2 the rest are set to the...

Amazon Customer: This is my favorite mouse that I've ever owned. I play a lot of FPS games. I like the fact that you can program the side buttons to whatever you want, including multiple key presses. The build quality is great, it's a Logitech they always get this right for me. The feel of this mouse in my hand is perfect for me. I dont have very big hands, so I dont have issues with grip at all. It comes with weights that you can put in to make the mouse heavier if you like it that way. Ths lights are nice, you can change the color, the way it shines, and if you want have no lights at all. I have another G502 that is all black. The special edition has white accents. It's not overly done, and it looks very nice in hand. The wheel can be unlocked and free spun. I mainly do that for entertainment. The braided cord is very nice, long enough to reach a good distance. You can install software that controls DPI, profiles for different games or programs.

Pros: Great for gaming, quality of material is superb, the accuracy of the laser is second to none, programmable buttons, and profiles, RGB lighting effect that can be changed. Comfortable for extended gaming sessions.

Cons: Have to install...

lp: Will update as I get more use out of this. The Hero SE looks great in person.

Size is a bit small, and not as comfortable as my original MX Master (needed a wired option due to too much interference). Sensor is amazing. Multiple buttons on a mouse seem annoying, but once you get used to it, its not bad at all. I currently have the DPI shift thumb button set up for Open Windows, and the top G9 button set for lock windows as this button is difficult to press by accident. The two buttons next to the left click (G7 & G8) is set for volume up and volume down. Scroll wheel is great. Not used to the left and right click on a scroll wheel, but I haven't noticed myself accidentally clicking left or right while using middle click. To make sure its the middle, you could just click down on the scroll wheel closer to the scroll type button. I set the left scroll button for reload. Amazing. The scroll wheel is infinite scroll that I've learned to love with the m705 and the mx master. I miss the motorized scroll change, but mechanical is just as good. Just dont feel a response like you do with the mx master when shifting modes. All the buttons on the mouse have an amazing click...

C. Conner: First, if your here to see if this Special Edition version also has the 16k Hero sensor, yes it does.

Allot of reviewers either praised this mouse for working well with their long fingers or being great for palm grip so I was worried at first that this mouse might make my hand hurt, (I've worked in a call center for almost 16 years and did allot of carpentry before that so I have carpal tunnel and arthritis too). I'm happy to say that as a claw user with shorter fingers there have been zero issues or pain from this mouse, (though when using the side thumb button I do have to reach a bit, but I like it this way as I can't accidentally hit it). If anything this mouse has tricked my hand into relaxing more into something closer to palm grip, (which is likely why it's more comfortable than my old mouse). The other buttons are very easy to get to and have a nice firm click. If you own any other Logitech products this has the same braided cable as their other gaming gear, it's strong with plenty of length and has a Velcro tie built in to make cable management a breeze. If you've never used a mouse with one of these 16K Hero sensors your gonna be blown away, so pinpoint accurate...
