E2C: This is probably a very good grease gun but for use in Australia it does not take the commonly available 450G cartridges. It is made for 400G cartridges which are used in the US. There is limited availability of the 400G cartridges here but they are very scarce and lack a range of grease types. I would have returned it but the cost of freight even with the small rebate made it not worthwhile. I did use the swivel hose and coupling it comes with on another high quality grease gun I bought locally and they are very good.

Old CJ’s Never Die: This is a premium grease gun that is well built and worth every penny! I bought one of the lock-n-lube tips first for an older gun. It works so good that when I needed to get another gun to carry on the road in my RV I decided to buy this set. It is fantastic! I really like the way the tip locks onto the gun for storage / carrying. The lock-n-lube tip locks and seals onto the zerk so well that you can use both hands to pump instead of trying to hold the tip on the zerk with one hand and pump with one hand. Both the lock-n-lube gun and the tip are great products!

Amazon Customer: Unscrew and remove the top of the grease gun, pull the follower rod all the way out and lock it over to the side, open each end of the new grease tube and slide it down into the barrel, then put your top back on and tighten it. Release the follower rod and slide it upward into the barrel, then pull it back out all the way and turn it to the right a couple of turns to lock the handle onto the plunger. Place the grease gun on top of the workbench and apply upward pressure to the follower rod while pushing down on the bleeder valve and pumping the handle all at the same time. Usually within a minute you will feel the grease gun priming and pushing grease out the end of the hose. It’s literally that easy!!! This LockNLube grease gun is worth every dollar!! Wish I would have purchased this years ago!!!!!! 5 STARS!!

PoconoTom: For 11 years, I have been greasing my tractor with a crummy grease gun for which I paid about $18. After marginal performance for years, it finally gave out last week. I ordered the LokNLube and just used it for the first time this afternoon. What a joy! The coupling tightly grip the grease fittings, and grease goes into joints rather than oozing around. With just one or two pumps, I saw fresh grease coming out of the joints. My old gun took 10 or 12 pumps to do this (while it worked). This tool is quite a bit more expensive than the many cheap grease guns on Amazon, but it is much more sturdily built and has a quality feel. (Owning cheap tools guarantees frustration, and what should be a 5 minutes job can turn into an hour as you fight with a piece of junk.)

So happy I bought the LockNLube - I never owned a good grease gun before, and I no longer need to dread greasing my tractor. I am as happy as a kid with a new toy!
