Angela E Berridge: Exactly what I was looking for - simple puffer jacket with a hood and no logos. Unfortunately it was too tight at the bottom so I had to send back. I am 5’1”, 140 lbs, with a short torso - size 8. Would be perfect on someone with a longer torso!

This jacket is perfect for 3-season hiking/adventuring when you aren't sure if mornings or nights might dip down into uncomfortable temps, around 35-55F. That's why it's a *packable* jacket. If it's colder than freezing outside, a person should be wearing a full-fledged winter jacket.
I went on a hike with temps in the low 40s, and it was perfect. I will say that it's definitely not waterproof by any stretch of the imagination, so you should carry rain gear if necessary.
My only complaint is that it has a weird smell.
