Robert Cook: I purchased this hat to protect my head and neck while gardening. It is light weight and comfortable, although I did remove one layer of the neck covering. Adjustable as well for a female head. I will buy another to have a second one on hand.

SamPaws: First I am an older woman but petite - this hat fits me! I love the quality of it, and I used the front shield as a pattern for some heavy plastic and safety pinned it to the fabric! This worked really well for grocery shopping. The snaps that the front shield attached too work really well. Can't say enough things about the hat and the fact my neck and face are protected from inadvertent coughs and sneezes is why I bought the hat - the fact it looks great is a major plus! The only issue I have is it's not really gray. Now if they only made it black....
After using the hat for 2 weeks I ordered the same one in navy! Love this hat.
