It just went out (actually, the shutoff valve was sticking, and could have been fixed, but I decided to get a new pump), and I immediately bought another of the exact same model. James R. Newstead: Pump failed after 5 weeks. Factory said it was not repairable but I had to deal thru Amazon 3rd party provider, Maxwarehouse. They refused to honor the three year warranty and Amazon would not help. HORRIBLE SERVICE and I strongly recommend avoiding Amazon's 3rd party vendors

JimE: I was amazed at how quiet it was in my case. In fact, I couldn't tell it was working until I saw the water level go down in the sump pit. I did open up the diaphragm switch and looked inside. I managed to mess up the diaphragm switch, but I opened it up again adjusted the screw, and it works perfectly. Note, the diaphragm switch is precariously delicate. But on the flip side, it is very, very easy to replace. I believe in most cases, when these things fail, the diaphragm switch fails, the pump itself is a very simple electro-mechanical device. No reason to replace the whole pump if this fails, people! Just replace the switch, it's easier than you think!

Rainpacific: We needed to replace our previous sump pump which had burned out after heavy use over many years. This is actually the same make and model as our old one so I expect it to run for a long time as well: it's solid and well-made. A great product at a great price, I highly recommend it.

A Sheth: Awesome replacement for my current sump pump. cheaper then anywhere else.. quite operation and fact of no float is way to go!! It has pressure sensing diaphragm which works like charm..

Clayton Drysdale: My last Little Giant burnt out after only 5 years. Not sure why. The setup was easy enough to just replace it. No issues so far with the pump. Hopefully it lasts a little longer this time.

Bob: I own my house since 2006. In the Sump their was a Little Giant. It ran faithfully for many years. A few weeks ago I stated looking into getting a spare. For some reason I found my original one a little noisy. I looked online I found Amazon had the best price. I got a few days latter. I had the pump for about a week when my original failed. I walked in and the original one just kept running even though their was not water in the sump. That night I replaced it. It's been working great since. Very quiet as well. I am glad I purchased it when I did. I wish it will last as long as the original one I had.

Kim A Miller: I got this pump to replace a 15 year old pump of the same type and model number. The old pump still worked, but it would sometimes not shut off once it was done removing water from the sump. I hired a plumber to do the install, which ended up being necessary only because of the PCV piping that had to be done custom. My old pump had an external float and could be tested manually. The new pump has no manual switch, so I had to trust it would work. It has now been faithfully pumping for several weeks. It is actually a bit quieter than the old pump. The only downside is that when we have a serious power outage, I will have to wait for the water level to be high enough to activate the pump before I start up the generator. This seems like a small niggle, but I will have to test it when I am waking up at 2 am to start the generator so that my basement doesn't fill up with water. Still a solid pump at a reasonable price
