Mazurka: I installed it on the front wheel, and it definitely makes the bike very visible during dusk and nighttime.
It also lights up a path a little bit so there is some additional usefulness there. Passerbys, especially kids, are enjoying looking at the lights too.

Steve Vanderwoerd: This would be the (count em') 7th we've bought of this product. Originally we bought them for a novelty bike ride event but now we ride with them on all of our bikes just due to the added safety.

The older version had a different battery pack but I like this one better as it is much easier to get into to replace batteries. On that topic, 1 set of batteries will last FOREVER. In winter my commute is about 25 min.. so maybe in a given week, I ride with them on 3-4 hours,.. and I change the battery once per season.

I've tried other brands that we "ok" but the tube is a must or the wires would be too fragile so this is the brand we came back to. Certain colours are much brighter than others.. green is the best and this time around I bought rechargeable batteries and discovered they actually make the lights even brighter for some reason.

So worth it to keep yourself safe.

Amazon Customer: Everything works great, except for the fact that I have a relatively large steel mount for my rear wheel brake. So the battery pack mount slightly - very, very slightly - grazes the steel mount for the brake. The friction is fractions of a millimeter, and has only caused a very slight abrasion on the battery pack mount surface. This has turned out to not be a problem at all, even at speeds above 45 km/h which I occassionally bike at.

Just remember to check and tighten all the battery pack screws after every trip - they do become a bit unwound with distance, on both wheels. Other than that, the product works amazingly well and is extremely cool. :D

natice: Please note this is only one set for one wheel which i didsnt realise .they are lovely though and hopefully last.i bought them for my wheelchair as im only young and waned to Jazz if up a bit :) x
