Amazon Customer: Watched the tutorials on u tube and had no bother putting it together. ( Well hubby did, i just made the tea!) Had an issue with one of the gas struts, contacted the company and replacements were sent within the week, very impressed!

GR700 1985: The item was returned. Since I am not allowed to comment on the delivery process I can offer a review since this item was to replace the same item I purchased 4 years ago.

Why did I try to buy the same product but did not give full stars? The price is ok for the size I needed,

What did I not like about this product? As others have said, having this exposed to hot weather will have negative effects on its integrity. For some reason, the side walls where the hinges connect have bowed outward. This allow rain to enter. Also, the lid has bowed. This could be the reason that screws from the hinge have fallen out. This has stripped the holes so the screw will not hold. I have placed extra long screw until I figure out how to secure it. Then last week when I pulled down on the latch, the whole metal support holding the two pieces of the lid came off in my hand. I was able to find screws that seemed to work so we’ll see how long that lasts.
I was hoping when the new one arrived to place in a spot when sun exposure is at a minimum.
I have now ordered another one from Sam’s Club to replace the one I canceled yesterday from Amazon.

Ian jackson: This is ideal for keeping my large mobility scooter dry although the hydraulic ram broke off after 2 days I can still manage to hold it up with one whilst I get it out and put it away so it’s not really a problem but it shouldn’t have broke after a couple of days

Weather tight and a material that will last as we have other units that have lasted over the years outside in Las Vegas sun (hot) as well as the cold of Colorado. The most interesting part of the unit is the directions for assembling the unit.

TRINITA HARRISTRINITA HARRIS: The only complaint I have is the guy who put it together left the trash for us to dispose. Glad I invested in this. It's a nice size and I live in a condo but it fit my yard. I wanted it for my 3 wheel bike. There is a lot of room to add our other 2 wheel bike and store my outdoor furniture cushions. Air tight. No rain gets inside at all. Excellent item! We can still get in the shed too.

Duane: It took my wife a total of 4 hours to fully complete the assembly of this storage shed. We are not very mechanically inclined and we still successfully completed it. One the very last step of installing the 2 lifters/cylinders on the roof broke. We called customer service on a Saturday, 15 minutes before their closing time and the operator was very helpful. We were told they would ship 2 replaces and they would come in 2 days by FedEx. And they did. We installed them and everything is fine.

I note there are reviews on earlier versions, this is a review on the latest 6 x 3.5ft (191.1 x 108 x 132 cm) version that I've pictured.

This is about as sturdy and secure as plastic can be. The roof is on gas struts, so goes up and down easily (a bit like a car tailgate).

The roof needs to be opened slightly to allow the doors to be opened, that's good for security, but is an extra step when opening and closing.

Build takes about half a day, there are 134 nuts, bolts and screws to put together. A screwgun / drill is a must, with a decent screwdrive to finally torque it by hand.

The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is too high for this product in my view, if your track Amazon you will save 10%-15% and it becomes decent value around £375.

The final product is simple to use, kids can open and close it easily. Just add your own padlock and it's all good to go!!!

Chaz: Likes: this shed is big! Excellent storage and nice and sturdy once assembled. The kit pieces are all well organised and nothing was missing. The instructions were pretty clear to follow besides a couple of steps, which we could ultimately work out. Which takes me to....
Dislikes: man oh man this took a while to put together, and I know my way around flat pack items! You're going to need a decent drill for this with a decent battery life. The majority of the screws went in fine, but the self tapping screws were a nightmare. In the end I had to use a metal drill bit to create some pilot holes. Also in section 2 the stages I think there was a manufacturing error because the holes for the screws in the metal support beams were WAY too small which, you guessed it, I had to get the metal drill bit out for again and widen them. Not a huge deal as I had the parts and enjoy DIY, but if you don't- purchase at your own risk!

Overall, despite taking a while to put together I'm really happy with this shed, its sturdy and is going to last a while!
