Amazon Customer: I bought this lock set as a replacement for an old lock so I didn't have to do any drilling. The instructions were easy and clear. The greatest part is the ability to re-key the lock yourself. After installing the lock I made it work with my old key which means I didn't have to distribute new keys to anyone because their current key works with this lock now. It actually takes less time to re-key the lock than it takes to switch the key on your key ring and I didn't have to spend time and money getting copies of a new key. Finally the lock set looks and works great and it's a trusted brand.

Sonamou: Simple installation and the quality of it is better than expected. For some reason, I was unable to perform the "Smart Key" with my old Weiser key. No big deal. Happy with the item.

Jesús TtJesús Tt: Tiene muy buenos acabados, es robusto y fácil de instalar, se adapta a dos diferentes medidas para los orificios de previas instalaciones y con la llave inteligente es posible mantener las mismas llaves de la chapa anterior o crear una llave maestra que abra esta y otras cerraduras de la marca. Yo tomé la llave de la chapa de la puerta trasera y la configuré con esta nueva chapa, ahora con la misma llave podemos abrir ambas puertas.

Julio: Yo ya tenía los cortes de la cchapa anterior por lo que fue muy facil insalar sobre donde estaban las anteriores.
Pero los tamaños son muy estandar por lo que no habría problema si se empieza de cero.

Darryn: Excellent product (I just used the handles) that matched with the Weiser deadbolt locks that I already had perfectly. The door now closes much smoother that it dead with the previous handle set I had. Purchased at a discount price that was lower that the clearance price at a competitor, which means that it was great value for money. On top of that, the easy to re-key deadbolts are a nice plus.

rani: I had heavy but failing outer door hardware, and spent some time looking for just the right thing to replace it. This piece is smooth, clean lines, but elegant and sturdy, doesn’t have a cheap feel. My old one was just... off... and no amount of fiddling could get it to work properly, after thirty-odd New England winters. This one was a bit fiddly to install, just because of the way the screws threaded and the way the deadbolt turner has to sit. I had no problem installing the lower knob and outside lever, but the deadbolt was a bit of a pain. It took four attempts to get the knob aligned just right to achieve full excursion of the bolt. (It would not pull back all the way for the first three tries.)
Now it works perfectly, once I got the knob aligned just right for the installation. I love it now that it’s in, but that difficulty in installation made me take off one star. Another small nitpicky thing that lost it a star—the strike plate for the deadbolt is not as big as the standard size from my prior one, so instead of using it, I’m going to spray paint the one I had already to match this, or come as close as I can.

Just Sayin': Had they included proper crimped braided hoses I would have given this faucet 5 stars. Luckily I was home when the hose backed out of the supplied pressure fitting and the water started gushing out all over the floor. Do yourself a favour and buy braided crimped hoses for this faucet. They are cheap and can save you a lot of grief.

SH: I own multiple residential rental properties and have systematically changed all the locks in all my properties over to the Kwikset SmartKey line of locks. These locks work perfectly with no issues on wrinkles. When a tenant moves out, I simply send the rental broker the “re-key” kit and they re-key all the doors in minutes. *Keep in mind that many brokers are NOT tech savvy or mechanically inclined at all yet I have never once had a broker call me saying they can’t make the locks work. There are no tools needed other than the supplied pin that comes with the re-key kit to change the locks. These locks have already saved me literally thousands of dollars by not having to replace all the locks with each tenant change! You will absolutely LOVE these locks, even if it is just for your own personal house! Many homeowners give out keys to repairmen, house cleaning services etc...these locks can be re-keyed in minutes with a kit that costs around $10.
