We haven’t used it for very long but it seems like the durability will let it last a while. I also love the color as it’s bright and now it’s darker earlier she’ll be a little easier to see her. I was worried the protection wouldn’t be good, but it fits her perfectly and covers her entire body to keep her warm!

Jeannie: My dog, Schotzi, is part Shar Pei and part Chow and I recently read that Shar Pei's can get cold since they don't have an undercoat. So, I ordered this jacket for her. I love the design, a plaid on one side, to use when it's not snowing and a water resistant material on the flip side. This morning, I had the water resistant side up since it was snowing. The design is great - no matter which side you have up, you can easily Velcro the jacket in place. Very pleased with this dog jacket.

Leo: I have used this on very cold mornings to walk my Lab. She loves wearing it but its not really a warm coat but better than nothing. I am still using this on 45 degree mornings but just bought a fleece lined coat for the 35 degree and below. This is fine if she is in the sun on a colder day but not for when its still dark. This is a jacket t best. Use it for the right weather and its perfect.

willowlarkwillowlark: I bought a medium for my somewhat overweight 16 lb Chihuahua mix and it fits him great. I put on the waterproof side out since it's raining. He got so laid back while I put it on him. Then he moseyed over to my daughter's lap and sat. She has been staying here with her dog for a few months and he's always been a bit cautious of her and all new people (except he likes men!). It seemed as if the coat was a security blanket for him. Then he just lay down and rested/slept. He seems so content in his coat I've left it on him indoors.

Mrs. V. Farrell: Lovely coat, just warm enough but not too heavy. Slightly tricky to get on though I am sure I’ll get used to but it is secure once it’s on.

LavonLavon: This coat is absolutely perfect for my 15 year old ten pound dog that has recently gone blind and deaf. I chose this particular coat because it uses velcro instead of zippers or snaps and is easy to put on and take off. It also has a slit on top of the coat for a harness ring to fit through. My dog feels secure, warm, and will comfortably wear it for extended periods of time. As you can see in one of the photos, she has no problem "going potty." Also, you'll notice the collar can be turned down or left extended for extra warmth on the neck. My dog seems more comfortable with it turned down. I highly recommend this coat to anyone looking for a dog coat that is soft, flexible, harness friendly, and provides quick easy access!
