Eileen: OMGOSH this story was AWESOME!!!! And I was compl,completely blindsided by Who-Done-It!!!! I LOVED the way previous characters were brought in to help and harken back to previous stories. I say this every time... If you haven't started The Krewe of Hunters series, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??!!

Spinneretta: Another addition to the Krewe series, sees New Orleans Detective Ryder investigating an arson. Ryder knows there is something odd about it, and he is immediately suspicious when he meets Sienna- the woman who warned the family living in the house.
With the help of a ghostly granny, and a cast of suspicious characters, Ryder and Sienna work hard to uncover a murderous plot, and make sure that Sienna isn’t targeted herself!

We don’t get to see many cameos in this book, just the hero from the previous book, a fleeting glimpse of the characters from book 33, and Angela on the phone doing her computer thing!
Only Sienna’s Granny K is the helpful ghost for this one - all the other are brief appearances.
That being said, it’s still an enjoyable, escapist read, perfect for those who like romantic suspense and paranormal romance.

JG: Honestly I love the Krewe series but I could not get myself to like the heroine in this book. She's stupid, immature, naive and quite frankly, rude. Not sure how her and the main character fall in love since she does nothing the entire nove except challenge him and be snarky to him for literally doing his job and investigating the events in the book. Their love story does not make sense. She has little, if any, redeeming qualities and there would be no reason they fall in love. I would have enjoyed the overall plot but Sienna is so insufferable throughout that it made it very difficult.

Reading For Escape: A good story. Enjoyed trying to work out who did it & failing miserably! Good characters, loved granny K. Can't say much about other characters because I don't want to give the story away. It lost 1 star for elements I'd comd across before. But still an excellent tale.
