LBCM: I've tried these a few times, but man i hate having to cut them down. I use a japanese pull saw which works pretty well, but i can't execute it as perfect as I want. Then I'm sanding on my finished work or sometimes I catch the project wood instead of just the filler. I feel like I usually go over it with putty anyway to hide the seams. I stick with painted work for my pocket hole projects so I prefer to just load up the holes with joint compound. maybe if I can improve my skills with these I can move on to stained projects

Happy Canuck ✅: Great, got a 50 pack of these Kreg plugs as I needed to hide some pocket holes - normally just make my own from dowels or file some up out of scrap wood blanks, but thought I'd give these a try and save some labour this time.
These paint grade ones are very good quality, I tried some of the 'normal' pine ones before and they were a bit ragged/rough round the edges - these are very sharp, well defined though. They fit the pockets holes perfectly, and are very easy to sand back flush and finish nicely.
I was filling holes in 3/4" thickness wood, so these stop maybe 1/8" proud of the wood surface and you need to cut or sand back the excess - I found they sand back very easy with a 120 grit disc on my sander.
Overall good, I'd buy these again as a labour-saver they've been worth the few $. Happy to recommend them :)
