Jerry Holland: The gauges worked well and I now have working AC again. The only drawback to this set it the can tap requires the older style Freon cans which weren’t available locally. Otherwise it was spot on.

Marcus: End quixk connects do not attach easily to the high and low ports. After wrestling with the connectors and sometimes being able to connect and other times not I decided to buy different connectors. I can now connect to the ports very easily. In addition the piercing valve lets freon through the valve stem (when there's too much pressure in the line) and I'm not sure that it should.

TonyBeinhauer: I bought these gauges with one main purpose- to install two mini splits into my home. I planned on taking the pump and gauges to work afterwards, as I am an automotive technician.

The whole kit comes in a box and has a small carrying bag. The bag won’t hold the gauges with the lines attached- it all had to be separated. The gauges were zero’d out when they arrived, so no adjustment needed. The kit comes with enough oil to fill the pump once, not enough to fill it twice. Not a big deal, parts stores have vacuum pump oil readily available.

I installed the gauges to the vacuum pump, attached the adapter and attached the whole setup to the first mini splits. The gauges feel surprisingly good for this price range, the vacuum pump is heavier than expected (in a good way). I flipped the switch for the pump and it came to life… making almost no noise. The pump is surprisingly quiet, so much so that I had to inspect the gauges to see if the pump was working. Much to my surprise, it had already pulled 25 inches of vacuum. I ran the pump for 2 minutes, and it worked flawlessly.

David O'Brien: Bought this kit because I could not get a plumber to come out the the acreage and commission my slit phase A/C Unit. Does the job very well. Good quality guage set and pump for my needs and pretty much exactly as described. Do not hesitate to purchase this kit...it's great. Don't forget to get the 1/4" adapter mentioned in other reviews to be able to use it on the heat pump valves. Thank you to the other reviewers that made this clear to me when I bought mine. Only plumber that called back wanted $3,000....this pump kit was a lot less lol. Lots of video's on the interweb of how to do this as well....Enjoy.

The price was affordable also .
In my country it get real cold for several month .
So most ac system sits for an average of 7 month
Most issues with ac here is mainly leaks from shwader valves .
So am in business .
