KONG Extreme Durable Dog Toy - Perfect for Fetch, Chewing & Teething

My pup finally received it (Largest monster model Kong) and started his work when he turned around 9 months of age. For reference, the Malaklisi is essentially a Kangal / Anatolian on steroids, and an Alabai is a large Volkadov type breed. My pup was never a big chewer, even when teething. He also never chews anything he is not given, and has been this way since 9 weeks of age. I decided to try it out and give it to him at 9 1/2 months, and after witnessing the condition after 15 minutes I withdrew it from him. Nothing dangerous, only small bits as seen. Just did not wish to take a chance for when he got comfortable and actually put the pressure on. While you may not have a 200 lb hydraulic press with fur and teeth, it may be better service for average owners. All of my other dogs also have used this model with no concerns, from Fila Brasileiro, Caucasian Ovcharka, Pure Wolves, Boerboel, APBT and even a very chew obsessed Dogo Argentino. In the past canines I worked with, primarily Malimois, Doberman and GSD also were gentle enough for this extreme model. I recommend it highly, but be careful of any dogs with strong bite...

Melisa McKay: My Siberian Husky/Doberman mix is a major chewer..he destroys EVERYTHING within minutes! This toy is still standing and We have had it more than 3 months. NOT A SCRATCH on it!! Definitely get this if your dog chews everything in sight!!

Dustin Hames: My 65+ lb Black Mouth Cur, Rosie, who is 2-3 years old has successfully destroyed every toy ever handed to her except this toy. The KONG Extreme Dog Toy has survived Rosie's playtimes since January 16th, 2023.

I seriously buy a $5-10 toy that she'd destroy in minutes of play often. Small ropes. Thick large ropes. Bones. Rubber toys. Tennis Balls. "Heavy Duty" stimulating toys with snack options. They all end up in pieces. With holes. Shredded. Destroyed with a very happy smile on the dog, but a sad hole in the wallet.

I purchased the KONG toy because someone at work said their dog loved their toy and it had lasted a few months! So, I thought $20 for a couple months sounds better than $5 for 5 minutes. And here we are, 9 months later and it's in the same shape as day one. This is a toy that I can leave out and she'll play by herself, run around, roll around with it... if you add a snack, then it's a puzzle to get it out and keeps her self entertained for 30 minutes at least. In the back yard fetch with this toy is a lot of fun. It's easy to grab out of her mouth. It bounces around the yard, keeping her entertained.
