P Harley: Bought Oct 2021. It has now pulled away in bath corners & adhesion is ok but water has slowly got behind it so it's come away in places. I'm now having to buy new tape. Grr

Samantha: Looks really nice but make sure you don't stretch it at all when you are putting it down. It will shrink and then you will have gaps on the ends.

L. Curtis: I'd previously bought this in grey for my kitchen and it was great. It still is great. This, however, doesn't stick well at all. I bought it to go round my bath. I heated it with the hairdryer, made sure that the adhesive was stuck to the tape and not the backing paper, all went well until the next day and it just slid down the tiles, flat. I took it off and binned it - used the other roll. Made extra sure to heat it, blah blah. The next day the ends of the tape have slipped down the tiles again.

J Aguilar: I purchased this since my husband and I are redoing a cabover camper. My plan was to use it in a couple different areas other than around the sink area since the previous owner made the camper "their own" in many odd ways which left rough edges. The only area that it stay attached was around the sink in the formation of an L. I placed it around the edge of the window that leads to the cab of the truck. All of it came off. This occurred in every spot that was an inverted L. I also found that a lot of the adhesive came off onto the backing as I was attaching the strip.
If your plan is to only use it in the L formation, this product is perfect.
UPDATE: Within the few days since writing this review, the L formation around the sink around is now pulling away. Lools like I will be redoing the entire area now. I need to add that I used alcohol on the wall areas before applying.

Max RockatanskyMax Rockatansky: Due to a poor bathroom design the silicone would always go black quick due to water not properly draining. Sick an tired of re doing the silicone beading so I tried these strips.
I bought 4 rolls in two packs, two rolls had a slightly green tint to them(hopefully you can see in pics) and of them two rolls the pvc came off with the backing tape rendering one roll of green tint useless. Didn’t want to try a more expensive roll as this was more a test, but the adhesion is great once stuck, heated the strips up once on with a hairdryer and I’m happy how solid it feels.

Should they need replacing or I get sick of the green tint I might plump for a more expensive roll so I hopefully don’t have any of the above issues....

SilverB: I've had this around a bathroom sink for 30 days, and I've only had one small part come up slightly (and more heat fixed it). Here is the key - use a heat gun. I tried a hair dryer but it could never heat the product up enough to make it stick properly. You need to be careful with a heat gun, but it works great. I could never get regular caulk to work because when people wash their hands, a puddle of water would sit on the side of the sink and eat away at the caulk. I redid it multiple times with the same results. This stuff worked perfectly to stop that. The only thing I would change is make the adhesive backing cover the entire back, there's a space at the top and bottom where it ends which creates problems with tiny things getting stuck. It's not enough to lower my rating, but just an improvement suggestion. This is one of a few products I've ever used that performed exactly as they were advertised!

Coleman: When looking for a caulk strip for my particular situation this product seemed to be ideal, but I was not sure why there was such a disparity between reviewers on the stickiness. Because this product was silicone it had the best material characteristics (flexible, stain resistance, anti-fungal, and chemical resistance) for what I needed so I decided to take a chance and look very closely at what I received before I used it.

There *is* an actual reason why the reviews on the "stickiness" are so varying, and here is why: Silicone is an extremely slippery material, and what was happening was when the person peeled back the paper backing the adhesive was able to stick to the paper and separate from the silicone strip. If this happens it won't stick to much of anything. When this happened to me on one end I quickly stopped, trimmed that end off, and started carefully from the other end, and the adhesive was able to stay on the silicone side without any problem. You just need to be careful that the clear adhesive gel stays on the silicone strip and is not stuck to the paper. After doing that correctly it is EXTREMELY sticky and quite hard to handle if you peel the whole strip in...
