terpsichore: This seems like a nice towel rack that is fairly sturdy. I needed the chrome look, and this was one of the best options I could find. When it arrived it was missing one of the brackets. However, I contacted the seller and they immediately responded and sent me another full rack with all parts, and told me to keep the other rack. The second rack took about a week to get to me, so I might have gotten what I needed faster by returning and ordering again, but I really appreciate the responsiveness of the seller, so I'm happy. It was also super easy to install on the back of a bathroom door.

jgriff411jgriff411: The rack itself is great, just what I was looking for- offset bars & a top shelf. However like many have stated the mounting hardware is sorely lacking (and I knew that before I ordered). I mounted one side using long wood screws into studs, the other side I used butterfly toggle bolts, so pretty rock solid strong install.

Ian M KingIan M King: I have to start out by stating my initial review was bad because it was missing hardware, however that was incorrect. Due to an error on my part, I had missed the hardware package falling down alongside the trashcan as I was unpacking everything. The return request went through so quick they were already shipping it by the time I found the hardware the next morning.

The product itself is very nice. It's a standard flat black which i wanted and nicely matches the single bar I have by my shower also the Ironick shelf I put in. Easy to put together and because it mounts directly to the wall, very easy to install. I highly recommend using a level when installing because you can end up with a parallelogram sitting at an angle if you don't. set up your drill holes on one side, making sure the bar is level up and down. Loosely mount the bar on that side, then use the level horizontally to make sure the bars are level side to side before marking the holes on the second bar. Remove bar, drill holes (and put in the drywall mounting plastic sleeve doohickies or whatever they're called), and screw in the towel rack on both sides. I recommend re-tightening all the bolts on the bars...

laughaminute!: Assembly! While seemingly straightforward, the instructions were minimal and lacking in essential details. There are four holes in the two mounting brackets with countersunk holes on one side. Deciding that they were there to keep the screw that go into each towel bar and shelf unit flush with the wall, I went ahead and screwed in the three bars. When it came to mounting on the wall, I had to decide if the washer pieces (that go on the mounting screws) would be too far out from the wall bracket to be completely covered by the screw covers?!? That would mean having to get them off and reverse the mounting brackets?
A simple detail showing which side the screws are attached would have been a big help! When the shelf is assembled, the whole unit was slightly skewed off square as the entire mechanism has to be leveled properly to look straight on the wall. In essence, the design has a 'V' shape while viewed from the front. This needed a level to square off the whole piece while marking the holes on the wall. The instructions were useless, and you have to plan out your own assembly procedure.
