Ms M: This beret was perfect. It's wool with a few venting areas that is not noticeable. It is warm, but allow the head to breathe. It had the perfect stretch to fit your head, especially if you have bulky hair. I purchase this in purple and gold to wear to LSU for graduation and the color is perfect, matching the school's colors. The wool is a very soft wool and not scratchy. The only drawback is I wish it was just a little larger.
