Biker Bob R-D: This Trooper hat works well for me in the extreme cold weather walks with my dog after dark. I was pleasantly surprised at how warn it was given it's light weight. I ordered a a size S/M and the fit was a bit "roomy" but not too much as to be uncomfortable. With the chin strap buckled it works fine. As I previously mentioned, the hat worked well during the cold weather, and gave me peace of mind in being more visible while outdoors.
